Just before christmas and a new baby arriving, I had my series 1 nicked from outside my house. Got paid out for it eventually but cops found it sitting in a quiet neighbourhood, they had tried to light a fire in it and had nicked my music and odb interface cable. I'd just put a new cambelt, waterpump rear shocks and front bumper on right before it was nicked. gutted. Anyway, enough sob story: I need a new car. I loved the open road handling, and I'm loath to go back to something shittier. While I'm entertaining the idea of another stagea maybe the m35 if I can afford, I'm also seeing cefiros - think they have different engines, but seem fairly similar otherwise. Does anyone know how they handle compared to a stagea? do they have simliar chops with regards to body roll etc. I'm not into lowered, race performance, with giant wheels, just a good family wagon that handles nicely on the road. And I like 6 cylinders. interested to hear anyone's thoughts

For sale is my 1991 Nissan A31 Cefiro. Series 2 RB25DET conversion, Serviced every 5000km's with Penrite 10Tenths Fully synthetic 15w50 Racing Oil, 3 inch full turbo back exhaust, Hi-flow cat, Manual RB20 gearbox, 5 stud conversion front and rear, R34 GT-T front brakes and R32 rear brakes, DBA slotted rotors front and rear, Tein coilovers, Whiteline swaybars front and rear, alloy radiator, Walbro fuel pump, Yellow Jacket coilpacks (fitted may 2014), Remote oil filter and oil cooler, battery has been replaced to a 600cca also. Interior: Dark interior, Manual dash cluster, manual centre console plastics, S15 drivers seat, full passenger capacity rollcage (modplated), Nardi Classic steering wheel, dash mat, cold air con, Cefiro floor mats, Boot interior complete. Exterior: Autech Front Lip, Series 3 Chrome Grill, B&N side skirts, Autech copy rear bar, Dark slimline weathershields, Blitz Type 03 2 piece 18x9 +22 rims all round, Federal 595 ss tyres all round done approx 5000k's, Custom flared wheel arches, DMAX Roof spoiler, Dark series 3 tailights (currently has dark and red as drivers side dark has a crack), has been resprayed in Ford Ego Gunmetal Grey, CEF111 personalised number plates (can be sold with/without plates) All major modifications are mod plated and were done by previous owner as this cefiro was originally a non-turbo, auto, 4 stud. Motor has done about 150000 k's. This is one of the cleanest Cefiro's I have seen inside and out, very well looked after and maintained. Since owning this vehice I have done the usual services (oil, oil filter, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter) fitted the rear DBA slotted rotors as well as the rear Bendix brake pads and fitted the rims with Federal 595ss (done approx 5000k). I have also purchased high flow cat, all new inlet to rocker cover, rocker cover to rocker cover and rocker cover to exhaust hoses from nissan as the old ones were rock hard. April this year I have replaced all inlet gaskets as well as getting the fuel rail cleaned, injectors fitted with new pintle caps as well as new orings to the inlet where the injectors sit, new top radiator hose with fresh coolant as well as new thermostat and rocker cover gaskets. May this year have just fitted new Yellow Jacket coil packs ($410) as my old stock ones were buggered. Selling my car due to our family going back to one so mine is on the firing line. Car has always been reliable (my family car) so I hope the next owner will love it as much as I do. Can sell with roadworthy or you can get your own whichever works/easier. I've just fitted some Splitfire SF-DIS-001 coilpacks. Initial test shows a big improvement. The car now starts instantly and no more misfire under acceleration. Not bad for an hour's work. The manual has a warning saying that after fitting them, you may get knocking/detonation and should adjust the timing to suit. I'm fairly sure the timing isn't adjustable on these engines. Is that the case? Should I be disconnecting the battery to do an ECU reset, or is that not a thing on these ECUs? I'm also thinking that next time I go into that area, I want to get rid of the pointless cover. Literally the only use it serves is to provide a mount for the power transistor. Question is where is a good place to relocate the power transistor to? Should I just cut the cover down to just the last 4 screws as even this will make it less annoying to deal with as it won't conflict with the J pipe. Anything else I should know?

Nissan cefiro with a r34gtt front, rb20det, 5spd manual, r32gtr front seats, hks 25/30 turbo, hks diff locker, short shifter, fmic, just had injectors cleaned and new plugs and oil&filters, has other goodies not mentioned, RWC no REG..can be put on club reg, good condition does need a little work to make a 1 of a kind car... $4700ono...

RB25DET into RB25DE Cefiro Hey guys, Ok I have an A31 Cefiro that originally came with an RB25DE and Automatic transmission. Transmission has been swapped to Manual and am about to do the RB25DET swap. I want to avoid as many problems as I can and want some information on the wiring. Its a series 1 RB25DET going into the car and I have bought a series 1 engine loom to go with it. I could not imagine there would be to many differences but what can I expect or avoid going wrong. 4 door (sedan) Window deflectors, Rain guards. Hey guys, Its really hard to find on the internet anything about specific wind deflectors/rain guards. I have a r32 sedan. I have been trying to locate some sedan wind deflectors for awhile. Not only can I not find them but I also cant really find any info on them. Does anyone know if there are other models that can cross over? Similar to the ones below. If anyone has any clues on where to find these for any sedans it would be nice to have a thread for all.

Hi everyone, This is my first post and I am in desperate need of some help. I am in the United States and I have an imported A31 Cefiro. My car was vandalized and someone smashed the drivers side front window. I am struggling mightily to find a replacement. There are of course no spare parts in the United States and I have so far been unsuccessful sourcing one from overseas. Does anyone know where I can source this window? Or can anyone help to get one shipped over? At this point I'm willing to pay just about whatever it takes to get the right glass. Anyone have any ideas? I greatly appreciate it!! Thank you, Blake

So my Cefiro has conjured wiring demons yet again, and this time they're attacking my Power Window fuse and both headlight fuses. Headlights go for about 2 days, but unable to track down when exactly they pop. But it seems like they'll work and then not work. Power window fuse definitely pops, when my windows are down and the car is turned off/on. Car was parked up for a bit in the garage while I installed an R200 LSD so there could be a possibility of corrosion of sorts.

For sale is a very low mileage Nissan Cefiro turbo. This is possibly one of the lowest mileage Ceffy's in Australia, I'm selling it on behalf of my 68 year old mum who has owned it for the last 15 years so it's probably the least thrashed Cefiro in Australia as well. Mileage is 70,000km with paperwork to back it up. The interior and mechanicals are that of a car that has averaged under 2,500km per year, the body however has some hail damage and the price has been adjusted accordingly, otherwise the asking amount would be close to double. It's surprisingly fast, aside from keyless entry and a CD stacker it's completely standard. Vehicle is a 1988 Nissan Cefiro (A31) SE turbo auto in Melbourne. Sale price is $4,900. G’day! First post after my intro. Have done a search to find which parts for a31 Cefiro are common to r32 and s13 and I didn’t find much. I know it’s such a broad question however, which parts from cefiro are common with r32 and s13 and which are purely cefiro. Front and rear suspension, knuckles, ball joints, control arms, powersteering, brake pads and rotors, radiator (rb20) and anything else would be great. I pretty much have to fix everything and trying to do it on the cheap.

It was in mint condition until it got left at a farm for 6 years no cover shelter nothing. So once it came home had to puke the tank it was completely rusted out a fuel cell In changed the Lines and put a 044 pump in changed the all the oil and water and now it’s waiting to get painted. its got hks air intake frontmount intercooler gtr injectors splitfire coilpacks tein coilovers gtst gearbox apexi avcr boost controler short shifter tomie fpr highflowed rb25 turbo bigger dump pipe and exhaust New radiator body kit blitz boost gauge the engine got pulled apart roughly 5k km ago and has a bigger headgasket pistons and machined. The car has been registered previously but was a drift car until it got put in storage the car had been tuned that’s all I can really remember aslo has a viper alarm in it anyways once it’s been painted (white) I will be selling it and I’m having trouble pricing it as there’s not many around ? If anyone could help with a price or has an offer either money or swaps let me know would be much appreciated thanks.

I'm after some lift brackets for my RB20 if anyone has any they're willing to let go of. They've been out of production since 2015, and I've checked places such as Nizzpro, Skyline Parts and Spares, and Trix's Parts. Don't tell me to just bolt the chain onto here or there, or ratchet strap around a manifold, I'd like to do it by the book before I have to resort to ghetto

Any help would be good or offers to swap or cash let me know what you think. cheers
