Guys, feel free to download the form, but please do not send to ARDC. PM me for a fax number to send it to and i will compile them all and forward to the ARDC in one go. This will ensure a central point of contact and i will be responsible for ensuring your entry is confirmed. I would rather avoid the situation where individuals are calling them and seeking confirmation of entry.

We are also looking to perhaps get payment before the day so that in the morning all we have to do is check off names and get wrist bands. Anyway, plenty of time to sort out the detial, but for the time being please dont be sending anything direct to the ARDC.

I "may" be interested in going on track depending on what is required. Could someone put up a summary of what is needed in the first post please. Is it an L2S licence and if so costs for it please?

Thanks in advance people

lol @ long ass straight at wakefield  Holy shiiit... good thing I upgraded my brakes :)

Umm, thats Eastern Creek, and turn 1 is 180-200km/h, so you only have to wah off 40-50kmh/h, its turn 2 thats a worry, and even that is nothing compared to the stops at Calder and Sandown...basically Sydney tracks are easy on brakes

*sigh* - why don't you read everything in the first post again.....

Eastern creek looks like lots of fun!!

Wonder whether the car will survive all this before the new engine goes in... mmmmm....

oh, and did I read somewhere that you were contemplating getting rid of all your parts for your big build Troy?? If so, PM me...

:)

*double sighs* I can see that Wakefield offer their own type of licencing so no Cams required and I see an LS2 is required for Eastern Creek. However I dont see where I get an L2S from nor how much as per original post.

Great work Snows & Troy - this is shaping up to look like a fantastic event :)

Hell - even I might venture trackside!

BTW: Alan - once you have a CAMS L2S you need not worry about other forms of annual licence.

Yeh its on the way from Wakefield to Sydney...kind of. Stop at Stanwell Park for a bbq and swim, then drive up the new coast road and through the National Park to outskirts of Sydney southern suburbs. Should be fun :(

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
