Holy sh!tballs man.... From what i've read, you found the car?

I don't care what the law is, if someone breaks into my house, they are going to cop a beating. Let me know if you need a hand with anything and i hope everything sorts itself out man.

This kind of thing freaks me out.

Wish you the best mate!

Sorry to hear mate. Like some have said, these guys obviously aren't your average low lifes, they've taken it up a notch... Hope they get em.

Surprised it got done in your area too, with tight streets like that (not a busy road) I'm wondering if someone scoped your place or followed you home one day.

Just to update everyone I went and had a look at the car.. Definately big fellows as the seats were set to 'habbib' position..

Turbo got so hot that its melted the heater lines on the firewall which drained the radiator.. so fingers crossed they didnt cook the turbo or motor!

Wheels are shot and they took my little socket set out of the glovebox but left all the breaker bars and sockets under the seats along with stereo/amp etc..

I can only hope Karma strikes and they both get hit by a bus and suffer immensely. People cant have nice things anymore these days.

Time for GTR quaters and a rebuild perhaps..

Yep and even if they caught them the courts wouldn't give them much of a sentence. Crimes like this could do with some capital punishment. I'm fine with killing someone for even a moderate level crime such as this. Treat others as you expect to be treated....I would expect to get my arse totally kicked or even be killed if I broke into a persons house and stole their stuff. Don't care if they were only 16yrs old.

It's not as if they were stealing to get some food, or committed a crime to defend themselves.

Hey Dave,

It sucks that this happened, from another comment you made else where, where you live is a perfectly fine environment for a skyline. They get stolen from even the best suburbs. :(

I truly hope that they haven't killed the car on you, as I know how much you loved it.

I do have a heap of bits and pieces you can have (Interior ones) if they fit your car and need them to repair it.

Dave, i have to laugh a little at your post with the pics.

General gist of the thread .. " Some bastards just broke into my house and stole my car... we found it tho... but the rear tyres and screwed, looks like they flogged the crap out of it..."

Then this.

Your Sig after your photo's just made me piss myself.

what a bunch of low lifes!!! if it makes you feel any better my car was broken into after a mag shoot they stuffed all the barrel and tried to steal it but the civic has airbags (iknow i was into show cars.... ) and they couldnt move it so stole the stereo and slashed the pass seat keyed the quarter and ripped out the TV screen by that time my mum was up and ran out the front and they threw it at her :(

long story short car was printed found the guy, never told me he went to court and got 13 hours community service and i got sweet f*k all!!!! ...... whoooo and and am now selling up sticking to stock looking skyline .... what a crock of shit the system is!!

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
