Or sell up now and buy a 3 pointed swastika and regret?????

The old Datsun is gold dust, any muppet with a job can own a BMW

My 2 cents is to stop treating the old girl like a dirty bitch

Not saying to not run her hard, just saying to not treat her like a dirty slart

For some reason a bunch of n54 bmw videos have come up in my feed so I watched a few and f**k they have some issues.

gotta spend the value of the car every year just to keep the oil inside the engine and the engine check light off and then all the body modules start throwing trouble codes up

Just saw engine nudes,

that f**king sucks dude. What size restrictors did you put in when building the engine?

Also who did the respray and rough cost? Looking to get S15 done

@niZmO_Man lol not the look I'm going for, that's too IG try hard, get likes and attract fk bois look :D

@iruvyouskyrine Good eh? lol... the bottom end I believe had 1.2 restrictors in it, however none were blocked off (this was recommended by the shop that built my bottom end). Respray wise, it ended up a bit over $15k with the guard work (F&R), glass removal, rust work, hail work, front windscreen replacement, fitting the skirts/pods, shaving off the GT-R logo on the wing, lengthening the front lip (as the Car Mate one is too short, no joke!). I did get carried away, initially it was going to be a basic respray, then nek minnit.....

  • 2 weeks later...

How I managed to crack an AWD block in a RWD car with only a measly 407kW makes proves the NEO AWD blocks aren't unicorns 🙁

  • 2 weeks later...

Someone tagged me in this, sad reacts only 😅

When it worked, then it didn't, then I all thought was it would have needed a simple fix, then I find the head is cactus then somehow the car gets a makeover 😅.

Then a few weeks later I find the block is cracked.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
