  1. I think pre 2011 maybe 2010 had some sort of gearbox issue. If its an 09 or early 10 you'd want to know that has been rectified. I assume if you google about it, there should be lots of info as well as merica sue someone, class action, save the kids type posts. If i was you id be stretching as far as i could to get the newest model with the lowest km as possible. A bloke i worked with had an 09 and its not a case of if but when the gearbox plays up. His went with under 20k km on the clock. He then bought a 12 and now has an 18, both had no issues.
  2. Im going to take a guess that hose is leaking. Id be rerouting that quickly. I have found out the hard way what happens when braided line touches red hot manifold before, not pretty. Does the white substance wipe away or is it hard and crusty? (Could be someone has used exhaust putty on that flange). My third theory is it's cocaine, you could try snorting it and reporting back.
  3. Install an RB and be happy with life.
  4. Depending on the dyno, the stock turbo, injectors, afm will make it to 180-200rwkw at around 16-18psi boost. The fuel pump definitely needs to be upgraded. A Walbro 255 is perfect for your goals, just make sure it's genuine (there's lots of fakes going around). You will also need a good bell mouth dump pipe (turbo elbow) and 3 inch exhaust. Off the shelf will be fine for your goals. A decent sized intercooler is also needed. Nistune is my recommendation for the ecu. With e85 you can get to around 220rwkw on the stock turbo but will need even bigger pump, injectors and possibly afm. 200rwkw in an s15 is quite a nice happy medium.
  5. It all makes sense now. Built by Gibson motorsport. This car is now legend status. I dub thee maxzilla.
  6. Still awaiting pm. Cash ready.
  7. Im surprised rp didn't talk you into a power fc.
  8. I have heard of someone over at performance forums having issues with a modular ecu when they first came out. The ecu was damaged when it did an auto firmware update. Was sent back to adaptech who proceeded to charge $ to repair it. Customer was not happy to say the least. Adaptronic support used to be awesome, all my experiences with the previous gen ecu where positive, seems since the takeover things have changed unfortunately.
  9. Auspost delivers to rural NSW. Kudos Motorsports has cam sensors for around $100 delivered. The gearbox is a different kettle of fish.
  10. More importantly, what where you smoking?
  11. Am having same issue and is effecting my ocd. Thanks for fixing in advance @PranK
  12. A bucket of bog, some black rattle can and she'll be right mate.
  13. I must agree with you, she is beautiful. As beautiful as you can get with the specially optioned engine/gearbox package. Super glue the plug back in and boost off into the sunset, oh wait, shiitttt!!!!...
  14. Genuine Nissan gaskets are amongst the best out there. Will handle plenty of boosts. Just need to check that the turbo flange bolts are tight every once in a while and it'll last years.
  15. I bought a brand new r34gtt box for 3k at the end of last year when there was heaps of stock. Price rose a bit in the next few months. I have been told recently they are now made to order and it's around a 3 month wait.
  16. It is still top of the list for most fun and the one i want back more than any other. What a trip down memory lane.
  17. Considering the extensively modified nature of your LM, it's not the end of the world. Kind of fits the theme really, sort of. Could of been worse, imagine you took the door trims off your wifes stock gtr to find that some spastic swiss cheesed it like that... Fuuuark.
  18. True that. If that was done to my gtst, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest, a bit different when it's an lm gtr. It is what it is though, put the door trims back on and pretend you never saw it.
  19. I spy weight reduction. Someone went to town with a holesaw. Brb, looking for my holesaw.
  20. That's shit luck but these things happen. Just about all of us have experienced some sort of setback in the eleventh hour with our Skylines. You're not too far from enjoying the fruit of your labour. At least you can finish off at your own pace now and make sure it's right ?
