  1. My guesses: Car wants LS1 Fusible links at positive battery, or some sort of connector (e.g. ECU) being dodgy Sell it and buy a WRX oh wait wrong forum
  2. @shehris hey I don't have an R34 so I can't say, I just go off the Nismo sizes. Ditto to what Kiwi said, those offsets are off. Play with the willtheyfit calculator and crack out tape measure and try to imagine how it would sit on your car.
  3. Not really, $600-odd for bolt in is good. When you compare it to cheapo red/yellow ones, yes, but they're on par with OEM and cheaper than the R35 route. In the mean time, gap your spark plugs to 0.7mm and see if that makes a difference.
  4. Comparing used Bilstein in my Subaru wagon, the TEIN Street Basis Z is quite comfortable. Body control is overall on par (some positives, some negatives). For example, the short travel you can definitely feel, but the "softer" dampening controls bumps quite well even on 6kg/5kg springs. Considering the price, if you're after some standard replacements + lowering they are great. Note that Street is different to the other TEINs, which would be rough as (e.g. the old ones that I had on my 32R). It really depends on your intended use and how much you want to spend.
  5. Doesn't look like it
  6. Nah Skylines are overrated, except R31s N/A doesn't sound too shabby. You can grab yourself an RB20DE NEO and make it rev to 9,500 rpm.
  7. Yep, especially when TEIN street starts from less than 400 pounds https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/tein-street-advance-z-coilovers-teigsn14-91ss2/
  8. Not meeeeeee OP, you should have local Koni and Bilstein options. Hell, if you have standard springs, throw some KYB dampers in and enjoy. If you're after adjustability, spend the money on KW (unless you just want height adjustment, then you can get TEIN street, they're relatively comfortable and cheaper). Nismo S-Tune is a good bolt in upgrade, KYB dampers and uprated springs. Dunno if it's worth the money though. 9. Maybe because they came out in 1988, Nissan was like "hmm we have a heap of redtop wiring harnesses lying around, stuff making new silvertop ones, use those instead!"
  10. Welcome. Sounds like a cool project, post it your conversion here, would be good to document it. You could also start a Barra vs. RB vs. 2JZ "discussion"
  11. 350GT is V35 Skyline, so you're allowed to call it what it is hahaha
  12. Rattle is probably heat shields around the exhaust manifold, but you'll have to investigate. As for sound, it's subjective but I rather proper mufflers/baffles (heavy) than "straight through" cheap light ones, especially on an N/A
  13. While I agree with GTSBoy (the projectors are shithouse), I have a pair or two somewhere. I'll rummage through my headlights and find you some.
  14. -5deg camber and 195 wide tyres, you'll be fine.
  15. Hahaha opsie
  16. Have you checked the wheels for markings or stickers? My guess is some old Work wheels from the late 90's
  17. You could say it has a baby zilla engine *puts on sunglasses*
  18. If you have Facebook, you can find groups that will sell Skyline parts. Also, our For Sale section!
  19. You should become a builder. Can do a half arsed job and still make millions.
  20. Also, this isn't a proper 'for sale' thread so I'll move it. If you're looking for a price, you can check Japanese auction results. But you're looking at the $10,000-15,000 USD mark
  21. You should be happy that's all you hear. Just imagine in 1995, all these whizzbang fancy electronic stuff clicking and buzzing away while your neighbours had to pull a lever to prime their carburettor.
  22. You could say... He's a bit of an anal stick.
  23. If you're in Sydney, you're looking at around $3k per year comprehensive
