  1. So why so hard finding info ? Gapping copper/nickel and platinum plugs is trivial. Iridiums are the only ones you've really got to be careful with. In NGK if it has no - prefix at the end it is like this- # heat range. Copper/nickel plugs, the bcpr#es is pregapped to 0.9mm / 36 thou, there is no 0.8mm gap in bcpr#es coppers. Platinum plugs BCPR#EP and Iridium plugs BCPR#EIX, are pregapped to 0.8mm / 32 thou. A -11 at the end indicates an 1.1mm / 44 thou gap as an option, available in all of these plugs.
  2. Really ? Most of the 32 rail sections are showing as discontinued on Amayama. I bet all of them are actually discontinued and the site has not been updated, as it's only updated if someone tries to order something and then an availability status is confirmed.
  3. The only place you should've checked is the actual NGK catalogue
  4. No worries mate, glad I could help. So a PPG sequential going in, nice one.
  5. Made a couple of changes to the car in preparation for Red centre nats 2020 Motorkhana. Ditched the Advan V103 275/35R18 for some Advan AD08R 265/35R18. Front camber reset to -1.5 and rear to -1.0. Midori Seibi red digital G sensor installed to replace existing analogue unit. New radiator clutch fan installed. Removed Splitfire coilpacks and went back to genuine new Nissan RB26 coilpacks with fresh NGK BCPR7EIX plugs gapped to 0.8mm. Full rebleed of Active LSD and ATTESA system. Finally a slight retuning on the Power FC, settling on 1.35bar Must've worked out, car feels great. First competition for the 33 in nearly 3 years.
  6. Nice to see Red Centre Nats 2020 completed last weekend with over 750 entrants. The 33 R went well:
  7. Yes ,it's an OEM replacement, so it goes without saying. Nearly all Jap ones fit stock pipes. 100mm ones generally require front bumper trimming though, especially on a 32. 8. No it's not regarding rebuilding and for the result, here anyway. I have a Quaife arse end in the 32 and I wish I could have that in the 33.
  9. Yep, every one of these 34 GTR v spec, v spec ii, N1, m spec and Nur spec have them. Even the halo Z tune has it, "specially tuned" as Nismo puts it. Good in theory. 32 v specs 1 + 2 have the goods with the 31 spline mechanical LSD. Yeah can't believe there is no a-lsd mechanical centre replacements after 25 years, they would sell like hot cakes
  10. I haven't looked on GTR registry for exact numbers, but that is far from correct. Off the top of my head about half of the 33 GTR is v spec with active LSD and in 34 GTR most of them have the active LSD. It is heaps rarer to have a 34 GTR with a non active mechanical LSD.
  11. If it's welded you could do nothing else as it's no going to "actuate' anything. I know right ? I'd be the first one to get one for the v spec !
  12. I guess....
  13. Basically you options are to bleed it and get it working back to factory 100%, or replace the entire housing, centre and driveshaft axles to go to any type of mechanical LSD. As mentioned earlier, ALL 33 and 34 GTR v spec have this type of diff too.
  14. So you didn't go and read about the active LSD as I suggested in the other thread ? In the drivetrain section there is a whole thread stickied at the top on the thing.
  15. Look up Active LSD and have a read. It is like the 33 and 34 v spec diff
  16. Sounds like your transfer case is stuffed if it is slipping. Your friction plates are probably worn. It is completely possible to tear the material away from the plates due to incorrect or poor fluid. Castrol Syntrans is a gearbox oil and is the correct oil for the gearbox, not the transfer or Attesa. Transmax Z is the ATF that should be used inside the transfers. Attesa fluid can be anything ATF basically dex iii upwards as it is just a hydraulic actuation fluid after all. Also regarding any new Attesa hoses they are mostly all discontinued from Nissan and is now only available part of the Nismo heritage lineup.
  17. Question is, why remove front fitting for single turbo ? To use the rear or fit a dash fitting to the front ? Most use that front fitting for turbo oil return and remove rear one, blanking it with a plate. Makes way more sense than using the rear. So I guess you are removing it to fit a 3/4 to an10 or 12 fitting for braided line ?
  18. If you're sure it's not the normal twin plate rattle sound, gearbox input shaft bearing is probably gone
  19. That Albins box is bloody impressive.... Please report back on how it goes, any issues etc. as that surely must now be the gun sequential to have.
  20. I know right ? Kudos are pretty reliable dudes
  21. OEM RB26 cam gear cover sold pending payment. Camtech 272 cams dropped to $650. Come on, someone must need some wild cams....
  22. I have a hardly used Nismo 25% quick shifter here that I was running on the 32R with an OS giken 5 speed. It was awesome - the tightness changed and is very very short shifts, but very positive. I rate them. I've since changed to a dog box but have the stock shifter with that box now, as the stock shifter is a bit quicker to remove. I should try the quick shifter with the dog box, but I have heard of it not being good with it. I might stick it in the 33.
  23. Use the 3M acrylic automotive black tape, it what Nissan uses anyway. Don't use that white or clear shit. The middle side skirt goes on first from memory, but it's all pretty obvious when doing it if it's right. Mine actually came with car 12 years ago, but I have had them off for painting before. Also have the genuine rear behind guard pods / spats. I'm pretty sure the holes are not different. I'll check this weekend when I'm back from work, as the old man has his genuine standard GTR skirts off of his car at the moment, so I'll be able to compare his against mine against both chassis'.
  24. Looks like rear windscreen washer tube to me, it runs under the carpet
  25. Exactly. Ratcheting crimpers with small pins suck. You can instantly release your grip and correct if your not quite lined up with springs loaded non ratchet.
