  1. I think the mx5 guy your talking about with 191rwkw also had an Na one with 90 something rwkw and was still very very competitive. Turbo did 1.22 -23 around sandown and the Na did 1.25-26 from memory. The performance came from weight reduction. Anything that could be removed was and everything else lightened. Think fibre glass panels, carbon roof, carbon drivers seat etc. Very impressive what those little things can do but just like anything $ need to be spent. Skylines and Silvias are still great track cars and can be made very quick without mega $ spending. Think, richos r33. That is 1 quick machine that cost a modest amount focusing on the things that needed to be done. He could make that thing substantially quicker with bulk $ put into it.
  2. I also vote ecu. Mine is an adaptronic running a mac valve on a internal gate setup and the boost graph looks very similar too kiwis above.
  3. No probs, glad to be able to help out. So the R33 joiner was exactly the same size?
  4. The one you broke and is now doing the rounds inside your cooling system?
  5. Fair enough. How much metal are we talking? A little on the magnetic sump plug or glitter show in the oil.
  6. Try putting some redline lightweight shockproof oil in it before replacing the whole gearbox. Could potentially save you lots of time and money.
  7. Gotta love school holidays
  8. You're in luck. I found it. It measures at 61-62mm on 1 side and 66-67mm on the other. It's in decent nick, should last a few years at least. PM me to arrange pick up or post[emoji106]
  9. I may have a spare 2nd hand genuine 1 of these in my box of rb spares in the shed . I'll have a look tomorrow. If I do, it's yours for free. I'll let you know tomorrow. Edit. Is neo and non neo same size? Anyone know?
  10. Is it a plug into the lighter style job. If it is, replace the power supply with a half decent one and all should be well. Same thing happened to me, I replaced the supply with a belkin one I had and no more interference.
  11. So when is this thing hitting the track. There was an turbo orange n14 sss at sandown a couple of weeks ago running mid 1.26's. Some competition for you. No pressure[emoji3]
  12. There may be a fuel pump kill switch wired in somewhere.
  13. Refit the dodgy seal and try again.
  14. No probs mate, it's a great feeling when it finally goes in. Congrats on completing one of the worse diy jobs on your car. Enjoy the new clutch[emoji106]
  15. @performance-wise
  16. Your problem is the coilpacks themselves. The yellow jackets are known to give trouble. You should contact the supplier again as he constantly tells people on this forum that his coilpacks are good and he has the best customer service, support and warranty. @performancewise
  17. Shots fired. A bit of messing around with antilag launch. Scared the crap of the guy next to us. Lol.
  18. This lap was pretty decent too. I believe it was a 1.25.06. The car definitely has a couple more seconds in it. Driver needs work. A proper diff and a ratio change to 4.3 would definitely help too. Lol.
  19. Finally got around to getting the video footage from Sandown off my dashcam. Im not sure if this was the fastest lap, if not it's pretty damn close.
  20. I put a block of wood under the front lip of the sump and jacked it from there.
  21. 275rwkw on a stock exhaust manifold with external gate will be no problem.
