Brake Pads Users Ratings Guide
admS15 replied to Snowman's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Can't comment on fp3 but the sr for the price are fantastic. I had zero noise, low dust compared to a1rm and we'll priced. Also stood up well to track abuse. For your application, they are more than enough. -
Great ad and will be sad to see you part with this after all the time, effort and money gone into it. In the best possible way, I hope it doesn't sell unless you truly are ready. I feel that you haven't enjoyed this car as much as you should have. Good luck anyway and I suppose we'll see what the future brings. It better be Nissan [emoji3]

I've seen what happens to cheap coilovers way above this price point (broken inserts and clickers that do nothing, blown seals, knocks etc), so it's very unlikely these will be much better. I'm happy to be proven wrong but don't you think if these where any good, people would have caught on, bought them and be giving you glowing reviews right now like some other China parts. Anyway I'm looking forward to your progress and review of these. Good luck[emoji106]

No, I'm in Melbourne, plenty of guys your way. I don't know what you're trying to achieve here. You asked a question and don't like the answers you're getting. That's fine, it's not the first or last time that's going to happen. Go buy them and then let us know how good or crap they are. You may want to compare them to good oem shocks rather than the flogged out stuff you have now. Following topic for results and review.

It is a good idea to replace. genuine Nissan oem studs are my recommendation. They will easily last another 15 years. Kudos motorsports sells a kit

Best performance street tyres
admS15 replied to vxsr33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I've had ad08r on my car for a while now. Done a few track days on them and driven daily, they still have 85% + tread and grip the same as when new. Compared to cheap motorsport Street tyres, rsr, 123s etc. These actually last and it will be a long time before you see their performance drop off. Easily the best road tyre I have used that can handle and work well on the track (never used rs3 to compare though). I've recently been using A050 semis for my last 2 track days and have only managed to go 1 second quicker. If I don't end up going at least another sec quicker, I'll be going back to ad08r. -
I had a similar situation with the injector size change in the ecu settings, wouldn't run properly unless set to smaller size. Ended up being a tired fuel pump. In your case, pump is new, so as said above, change fuel filter and check fp wiring and for kinked or swollen fuel lines. Particularly in tank.

How you test for steel wheel or ceramic?
admS15 replied to dave123456789's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Here's one I prepared earlier. If it looks like this, it's ceramic. -
I think the r34 has abs sensors where the shafts go into the diff. The wiring to those has most probably been chewed, that would set off the abs/slip lights. You can still drive it to the auto elec.
-
Just tape them all up with electrical tape and then take to sparky.
-
Looks like all the hicas wiring. Now that's a fantastic reason to get rid of it altogether. Your going to have to match all those wires up and join them back together properly. Otherwise the hicas computer isn't going to be happy. Those dogs are going to need a good talking to as well...

No problem, glad to have been able to help out. Obviously I was in the right thread in the right time[emoji106]

Unless it's shagged, it should be ok. I'm running over 300 with a stock gtst fpr on smaller 740 injectors and 340lph pump with e85.

Yes but they're way too big. Honestly, if you want twins with reasonable power and response, -5, cheap and simple upgrade. If you decide to go single, this would be a smart move, the latest and greatest turbo everyone is raving about is the Borg Warner 8374. Excellent response and power. 8374 all the way is my recommendation. If you want ridiculous power and lag the 5533 is for you.
