    You can look up the VIN on http://gtr-registry.com/ to confirm. If you're patient (e.g. willing to wait 1 year), you can get someone like iron chef to look for a nice GT-t. But, there should be enough R34s floating around, you'll have to be patient either way. What about buying interstate? You could find a nice, close-to-standard-as-possible one with import papers.

    Why don't you get a standard RB30E engine, and boost it with a good tune (the important bit)? A8 a.k.a. VL turbo block is just a low comp RB30E (7.8 vs 9.0 from memory) with a higher price tag.

    From earlier in this thread You can easily find pictures of RWD Nismo wheels. I'd say they would stick outside the guards. Depends how hektikstancenationhashtagvapebro you want your car to be, you can make them fit. As for brake clearance, offset isn't an indicator, standard R33 GTS-t wheels are 16x6.5 +40. If those XXR wheels can't clear the brakes at 8.75", their caliper backspace is too small (i.e. "deep dish wheel design").
