    How were they different? Different part number could be different a different bulb, or connector, or any other component, but the housing itself could be identical.

    We should've moved to >12V decades ago. Only now are there cars appearing with 48V.

    Diode on the high beam wire, so the current flows to the solenoid when you hit the highs. The high beam bulbs on my car have a separate relay wiring, so I use the standard wires for activating the solenoid.

    You say that, but when you daily drive a car with it, reversing a car without a camera becomes weird. Of course I don't soley rely on my camera, as it's in a weird angle (gen5 Liberty wagon).

    Would have to be immaculate. RB25DE R32 would be a great daily. But as above, be prepared to wrench or spend money on it, all cars require maintenance, especially older ones. People sell defected cars as track only because their car is unroadworthy and too expensive to bring back to roadworthy condition.

    I would start with replacing all worn/floppy bushes, then moving onto dampers and springs... Which is why I still run crappy HKS 'coilovers'

    Get a 2.25" cat back made up, like the GTS2 system but with a "turbo" mid muffler and your choice of rear muffler. Sell the GTS2 cat back.
