  1. JZZ30 Toyota Soarer Its time for this thing to go. Owned it 6 or 7 years now. but I lack the room to keep it. It is a 1994 Toyota Soarer Turbo 1jz goodness, has 270,000ks on it Has a bunch of parts on it that with a little cash spent could be a plenty quick streeter. or part it out and make a stack of cash. The good bits: Hypergear TD06l2-20.5g billet turbo sitting on an ETM steampipe exhaust manifold with a 50mm gate, HPi Japan intercooler kit (jap made core) Maybe has 8000ks on the lot with only 9psi and no racing. 3.5" exhaust BC racing Hr coilovers 18x10+22 Lenso D1R wheels all around with 265 tyres that are hardly worn. Project Mu front pads with less that 5000ks on them. Black cloth interior from factory (ask a Soarer guy how badly people want this!) with electric seats. Now the bad parts Paint is cracked on the bonnet and boot Left rear wheel bearing is no good (have a genuine toyota wheel bearing kit. but I'm told the whole hub will need to be replaced. (Brand new from toyota is >400 bucks) Unfortunately the dash stopped working last week. but all other electrics work fine. I dont have time to replace it. Was registered in the ACT but expired a few weeks ago (if the buy pays I am happy to renew for 3 months) I also lost the gate pipe/screamer pipe when I moved. so the gate vents into the engine bay. I simply didnt flog it any where. so wasn't an issue for me. Now the price. This thing must go...and go fast Its Located in Camperdown NSW (inner west sydney) Price is $2000 obo As per above. the price with 3 months rego is $2250 obo If I had the room and the time I'd part it out... But I don't.....so losing a metric shit tonne of money selling it whole....but that happens. I am open to swaps for bikes. but not cars.   6. Here is something interesting.... On the home wifi now...so different set of ads and no pop up. Turn wifi off and use 4g and back to pop ups. And its only when an ad for mail order international sim cards appears in the top ad box first
  7. I get this everytime I load sau from scratch or it refreshes after I have closed chrome/android browser. It will also hang when trying to load an ad (4g middle of sydney) after changing to the next page or trying to load a new subsection. refresh url and bam mega pop up instantly. or quit the current tab and load sau.com.au and get the pop up. Googled around and it seems like it is coming from the ad servers (happens occasionally on other sites as well)

  12. Pooled fuel is bad mang!!! Needs to stay in suspension, fuel pooling can show as an engine being stupid rich but still detonating like it is lean. Ideally you would pulse the injector just as the valve is passing 1mm of lift so their is airflow past the valve.

But if you want to study a compressor map for days to find that it is most efficient at 21.9767571psi and set it there only to find that is makes 400hp and the guy with the precision is at the track running 9s already

  18. What were the bearing clearances? A 0.03mm out of round would show when checking the mains
  19. If I were to hazzard a guess. I would say that your intake pipe and filter are solidly attached to the body. I think the engine has rocked over and mashed the intake pipe and turbo snout together. Hot aluminum bends pretty easily
  20. My ETM 1jz manifold is perfect. If I ever build another turbo car I'd never use a cheap manifold. I have in the past and found they are aweful. Compare the collector / merge of a good manifold to the ones above and you can see what you pay for. Prep and finish should be done by the manufacturer no matter how cheap the manifold is. 5 minutes with a die grinder might make it look ok. But shit welds will still crack and break off and destroy shit.
