  1. I would seriously be stopping in at to see Jez on the Central Coast on your way down. Even if you don't want him to do any work on it to void whatever sort of warranty you have, just talk to him about what work has been done for the money you have paid and see what he thinks. 0414879711 - Jez
  2. What are your plans for the car in the next 3-4 years IE mod wise and what type of driving (street/circuit/drag/drift)
  3. Cam seal has been leaking since the car has been running. Decided to fix it today. Pulled all the shit off and found scoring in the exhaust cam, and also found some black shit on it as well, looks like the seal may have been unlubricated and is slightly melted onto the cam. Sweet. So undecided what to do at the moment. Will grease them up and has been suggested to put the seal back in but not in the same position as before. IE 1mm further in or out. Also had planned to do a wakefield drift day 2 weekends ago, but the night before it the MAP sensor on my ECU dishonoured it's family and killed itself for some reason. So took it to Jez and he swapped it over for me (top bloke). Fun times.
  4. Jesus f**king Christ. And I thought under a 25 plenum was bad. That's bullshit.
  5. I have encountered this before also. I have the studs a small massage with a hammer in the appropriate direction and it worked a treat. Obviously don't go belting the shit out of them, just a few taps to move them a few mm. I know this sounds dodgey and that's because it is. But it was midnight the day before a drift event and it worked fine and have had no issues ever since
  6. What is required wiring wise to run this mate?
  7. Not surprised these didn't take long to sell, quality items!
  8. I believe it is somewhere between 500-600 bucks for a 40gal drum of Sucrogen E85
  9. I'll I'm going to say is this. Having read your (multiple) threads I will never have any dealings with CRD at all. Sounds like piss poor customer service at every turn.
  10. Fatz has the idea. Drive it and deal with it rather than pulling the engine out and sitting at a keyboard arguing over the Internet with people that your engine will have zero oil issues and you will do it this way and they should to, and then you realise you haven't driven your car for over a year and won't for another few months when the person with the issue is out wringing their cars neck every few weeks.
  11. Standard R33 ones are quite a bit larger than standard R34 ones.
  12. Is it red or silver? You posted pics of both so a little confused
  13. I have seen many terrible plenums, but this one takes the cake. What a f**king abortion. And to answer your question. No.
  14. Without reading anything in the thread. Main reasons for it being laggy. Exhaust restriction, cam timing, poor tune, VCT issue. It will most likely be one of those.
  15. This is for R34. No idea what R32 is but this should get you in the ball park. Either way I recommend not using the standard nissan sensor.
  16. I have a boost controller that can have two set levels so may as well. And yeah I kinda f**ked up when I went 25/30. Didn't realise how much extra torque it would come with. At anything over 300kw it will absolutely destroy tyres and that's just a bill I can't afford. So trying to keep power pretty tame.
  17. They do fit 32 gts-t no worries mate.
  18. Current config is 265kw at 10psi and 294 at 13.5psi. I would ideally like to run make maybe 280ish kw low and 320-30 kw high boost. I think maybe 12-13psi low boost and maybe 16-18 high should get me in the ballpark. As I don't want to run huge boost I don't want a gate spring that is too stiff, but that causes a little more lag. So I though maybe get a stiffer spring 12-13psi and then run more boost but the tuner can really relax the timing/fuel so it makes easy power while still coming onto boost quickly? I would be happy to go to a 4 port solenoid if you think it will be advantageous.
  19. Hey all. RB25 neo head, RB30 bottom end. Hypergear SS2 on 6boost high mount and 45mm turbosmart gate (7psi spring) venting to atmo. 3" staino exhaust with single muffler. Turbosmart Eboost Street Boost controller with 3 port solenoid. Reading the turbosmart manual there is two ways to set up the boost controller. I am Currently running method 1 and it is pretty lazy coming onto boost. Wondering if there would Be any advantage trying out method 2 to see if can pick up a little bit better spool? Will be going back to tuner with a little stiffer gate spring, dial the cams in for area under the curve and possibly change my boost controller config. Cheers
  20. Did a drift day and water temp didn't get over 70? Something is wrong (either your guage or your thermostat) unless the event was in Antartica.
  21. Id say that the balancer changed from 7 marks to only 3 in 1999.
  22. Stao dos you ever see my RB30/SS2 results? I posted them up here but never got any response from you.
  23. Hey mate. With the S14 subframe when you changed the LCA mount what exactly did you do. In one pic I can see you lowered the front mounting point but can't see much else. I'm also building a 32 drift car and currently debating whether I will go S13 or S14 subframe. I already have the S13 one and everything I need but can go a S14 one if the benefit is there.
  24. If you are real worried, an extremely rough translation is; Set timing to TDC Idle car at 600rpm and check with a timing light and it should be set at 10deg +/- 2deg
