  1. Depends what you want to do. I have a 8an feed and return. I don't think twin feed is necessary. I bought 2 4.5m lengths as that's what aeroflow had. I had some left over, as sneaky Pete said you end up using it for other things. Better to have more than not enough. It's never gonna be exact.
  2. get two 4.5m lengths
  3. It looks to be a tidy car, so what? It's not a 1000hp+ so who cares now?
  4. Dammmmmmn this will not last.
  5. Hi guys, Need some help. I have done something wrong cant figure it out. So engine came out and went back in. When clutch pedal is fully pressed the fork touches the clutch cover. Clutch is a pull type. What have I done? I've put something on wrong but not sure what I have done.
  6. perhaps someone should figure out a way to make a gtr sump and bell housing to work on a 2j. wont have to crack blocks anymore.
  7. but you cant race either of those things lol
  8. why is it always drugs or gambling the benchmark at which a car obsession is held at? lol
  9. I think the biggest event on the calendar now is coota. Everyone wants to run a number. Besides vaping stance fags.
  10. Well that's my point. Second hand performance cars which used to cost 150+ when new can now be bought for good prices. E90 m3s for 40k, e60 m5 (v10) for 50 odd. You don't need to modify them but if you don't want to. That and after spending 50k on a car, spending an extra 10 or 20 or whatever might be a bit of a stretch so in some cases better to just look after it and enjoy as is. But all in all I think people are spending more on cars than ever. There isn't autosalon anymore to show your off your hectic paint but if your have attended a roll racing event recently, there are some serious street cars getting around. Things have just shifted from looking fast to actually going fast. As someone said before. It's all about getting likes and efame. No one cars about your build thread lol
  11. The scene is definitely changing. People are spending sooo much more money on their cars these days. 1000hp with a sequential is becoming the norm. Crystal vaults and a jetspeed kit were expensive mods once upon a time too. Manufacturers have been making good/fast/sporty cars for a long time and some are getting real cheap. Ie. Early c63s. Not everyone's cup of tea but for under 50k you're getting a lot of car for your money. Late-ish hsvs are great value for money as well. We are spending more and more on cars though. You go to summernats and powercruise or whatever and fully painted bays, custom fab or the whole hypertune catalogue, expensive jap wheels (cos we don't do fakes anymore) are very common. YouTube the early ff&r serious performance videos. Cars were basic af and the fast cars made between 2-300hp.
  12. when i see photos like this i wish i held out for a white 32r. good luck with sale. ps. tomei engine ornament is upside down!
  13. Don't worry about it. Even piss off that relief valve. Walbro 525.
  14. Don't know about gtst but yes gtr has a cradle. Best to do it with the fuel very empty. Trust me! Takes a bit of stuffing around to pull the cradle out, patience is required. After it is out, install new pump same way as old pump. Best to use factory sock imo. There's plenty of pumps out there however walbro has a new 525/h pump. More importantly than the pump install is doing a rewire. Simple mod. Search that too lol
  15. i used to use Hollywood body repairs years ago when the asian dude owned it. it changed hands and has since shut down i think. Precision Autobody Repairs look like they do good work. Its not in the area however Bellevue Bodyworks in Carlton do really nice work. A close friend has had his car resot'd there and they have done some small jobs for me in the past. Any further work id definitely be taking it to Bellevue Bodyworks.
  16. good luck with that lol i have heard these rumors but what is the actual evidence that it is superior?
  17. Sounds good. What power are you chasing?
  18. where are you from? i have stock ones available.
  19. They arent available for purchase as yet. i want to get the car back on the road asap lol if you have a rwd i dare say you will be fine. its not like you have a front diff attached to the bottom f your motor.
  20. This is true lol Build was perfect. Car ran beautifully right up until it split a bore. Upon tearing down engine all components were perfect. The only thing that failed was the stock nissan block lol. Pistons are 86.5. As others have said in the thread. The prp brace isn't bolt on. It requires machining. They are releasing a new one piece girdle/brace. As @Deano 1 said, it can't hurt lol
