Fitted a 350Z midpipe to mine today. Got a muffler guy to weld 6 inches onto the end to make it PM35 length. in retrospect 7 inches is the go, 6 inches works but is too short. Hangers are identical. A V35 coupe will bolt straight in I believe, I got the Z because it was ....cheap :)

This is the difference- 1 big muffler in the std one, and a resonator in the 350Z. Sounds great on the car, brings the tone to life without being too loud/droney

Oh, and about 7 kgs difference in weight! Oh and the diameter is bigger too... win!

Changed second steering pump today...bit of a bitch of a job.....keeps shitting the inner's...thinking I might have to put a bigger wheel on it if I'm going to track this thing!

oh & alll the BS is good in this THREAD OH NO ONE POSTS IN HERE JUST SOME STAGEA OWNER  ,

YOU MUST BE SPECIAL DALE :spank:

I DID SOMETHING TO MY CAR :stupid:

:google:

I Made a clip to hold a cable to body :worship:

 oh & a new battery :bunny:

can we Sticky  this thread so many helpful pinch.gif hints

rofl.gifgotta say mate stupid.gif

easy fix bud.....go start you own "CHUCKIES BUILD THREAD!" thread....then you wont have to come in here and be part of the community....oh and can I ask....Did you start this thread? Pretty sure the original thread was started by Dale...and M35 ownerohmy.gifpwned.gif

Oh and I'm pretty sure this wasn't so much of an info thread but just general conversation on what you have done to your car today......even if you did fart in it and mix the smell with WB40(good one Andrew...lol!...I mixed mine with auto fluid). So if you want serious info go do a frigging search buddy!

And a big pointer for yah!...cap's for yah too!

IF YOU DON"T LIKE THE THREAD DON"T COME IN HERE!

The C34 got some love today....

Oil and filter

02 Sensor

Check and adjust of all other fluids

Bay wipe down

Also had a crack at getting my windscreen jets to start spraying a good flow of water again to no avail.... Pulled them off and stuck a pin through the holes on the top and where the hose connects to with slight improvement but not much..... Ideas? Is their a diaphragm inside these of some sort to help build up pressure or anything that I may have stabbed through with the pin?

Thanks for all your HELP ,

I guess owning a NM#% is some sort of gift ,

i guess with all your imput i will be happy to have a NM#% in the family & may be you will be more helpfully then,

but as its my DAD`S He can enjoy knowing a mob of EBW

Deadset nummer's....you have to keep poking at the hornet's nest don't yah!....most of us(c34 and M35) just want to get along(E.G. C34 and M35 cruise together or have meets in NSW, Vic and SA)....love how you blame the M35 owners but the thing is buddy we were getting along with the C34 guy's till you and your mate Jason + 1 or 2 others came and started flaming us....I even did a reach out to you but even that wasn't good enough.......had to go and make something false out of it didn't yah!

Well I've met some simpleton's before butt I have to say....if trying to destroy the whole SAU Stagea section is your goal hat's off to you budworship.gif

hat's off to yah bud!thumbsup.gif

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
