Yeah, why dont we hate on S13's instead? God those things are gettho.

not always. nigel petrie's 2 tone is awesome.

lol yeah with there silly ca18/sr20's and there filthy cable ties

cable ties are ghetto!

although SR's sound like tractors, they're pretty amazing 2ltr engines for their age.

Why so much hate on other Nissans? 33's are great, s13's are great. C34's, r34's r32,s are great. So much hate on S1 burgundy too. My parts car was a burgundy S1 Type M on Enkeis and I reckon It would've been awesome before it was run into.

TL;DR, Can't we all just get along.

where would the fun in that be?

The driver lol

Serously the little wing or no wing makes them look horrible , a gtr wing makes them sooo much nicer , no wing they look boring like a camry

stock wheels is a no no that makes the car look lame add that to a faded silver paint and frosted headlights and its not very nice looking , actually just about every car can have a combination of items that makes them look poor , the 33 can look great at least if doesnt have the horrible dash cluster on r32 lol that is a fail on every car that had that style

even the R34 and 35 has to grow on you ?

Being a 33 owner I might be seen as being biased, but I've owned two and they are my favorite line.

But I can see how to many people they seem 'bland'. The series one is ugly as all get out, but I truely do like the series 2.

Of course it does need to be slammed down a few mm's, and some wider rims. But with good stance and offset it can look the goods. The main thing that annoys me is that only the GTR's have widened rear fenders.

  • 1 year later...

I read this and decided I'd take the whale out again and see if I could shoot some bad photos of her....... and failed. They're gorgeous to me. But the GTS series I wing wasn't.............. great..

I still don't get why so many people seem to think they are ugly, or is just that those who do just seem to be those who would like to tell the world about their preferences in life. dunno.

Still going through my shots.............. nup, can't find any. hahaha

They're not ugly, they're just 'soft' compared to the R32 and R34.

I'd happily swap my R32 for an R33 (GT-R of course).

The story of the 90's Skyline goes (which I made up):

R32 Skyline = Top athlete, smashing competition around the world. Got banned from competing (Group A racing).

R33 Skyline = After the ban, depressed Skyline stopped doing cardio and started eating more junk food, became fatter but still had the muscles underneath.
R34 Skyline = Went through some soul searching, decided to train up to get back to the glory days, became toned up and muscle-y.

R35 = Roids, not a Skyline any more.

    • Hey keep the ideas coming, I'm always keen on projects! But, problem fixed!  I got a cheapie ozito scope from Bunnings and had a good look in and around the bearing and sensor hole. I couldn't see a smoking gun but the bearing looked a bit strange, especially when comparing with a new one. I thought the cover had come off the bearing magnets.  Sorry for pics of a screen, I didn't have an SD card.     Good thing I had the old one to inspect. So, given I'm like a pit crew with wheel bearings and luckily I had a spare bearing because I f**ked up my parts order, I decided to just smash it out. Got the old one out in about an hour. So much easier when the parts haven't had a chance to rust together yet. 😂 And, well, found the problem.    In the second pic at about the 8 o'clock position, you'll see what I think is the tip of the old sensor.  The new sensor has definitely been rubbing but it's all intact, just a little shiny so I'm hoping it's fine.  The car brakes perfectly now and no errors.  I think the job took about 2.5h in the end. 👍🏻 I really appreciate the help in here as usual. Thanks guys.
    • I was only looking because I saw some drops on the ground but it wasn't alot. Recently had it serviced will ask the mech to confirm. Find it strange that it looks standard though, can see in another photo of a random box
    • So...not sure if you know if that has always been there or why you went looking. It could be old damage from a clutch explosion, or even just the gearbox got dropped somewhere along the line. Basically, you should seal it up to stop oil and dust getting into the bellhousing, but it doesn't matter too much and is not structural. I'd suggest something like a glob of JB Weld. BTW what gearbox oil are you running, I would guess the breather has been spewing it everywhere.
    • Hey Duncan thanks for your reply. Sorry mate I know the photos are shit.  Took another photo for reference. Seems the casing does have a hole in it looking on the net, fluid seeping out. Added a photo
