  1. Glad its all sorted mate another example of the dunning kruger effect.
  2. I will send you a PM mate. Should be able to sort this out.
  3. yeah it was far more expensive 10 years ago as well... took me months to save up for everything to how i wanted it.
  4. Cant see much, but it was a awesome setup. It eventually died because I used a conventional 2.5" laptop hdd in it and all the bumps and pot holes in The Republic of Georgia destroyed it... I never made a new hdd for it as i moved engine from one car to another when the car got to the UAE
  5. I did this about 10 years ago, i used a Thermaltake 7" lcd motorised touchscreen that was made for servers that can sit in a pc case, i mounted that in the dash, and used a amd mini pc and a 12v power supply from jaycar. I am thinking of doing another setup now, where did you get the screen from? how much was it? I think i paid $600 for mine back in then. i think i got a video somewhere of it working
  6. it is interesting how people put so much faith into the data that is put before them.. things are not always what you have been told.
  7. nothing wrong with the borgies products, you know what they say about the mechanic who blames his tools? lol Moving right along. Kinksta: you are using an external wastegate right ?
  8. In the UAE, I had a 350z with a 2630 in it, was fully forged with some unknown camshafts, it had GT2860R-9 turbos on it, and i frigging loved it! It will work fine trust me =)
  9. try another egt sensor and gauge.
  10. put a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel line going into the rail and watch it when misses and look for any issues
  11. one i did, basically a standard budged build rb25, i think the whole car owed the guy under 6 grand standard intake and exhaust manifolds the car lived on limiter and it lasted a whole 2 months of disrespectful abuse before it broke a rod the car still ran with the broken rod handing out the side too lol
  12. I know this is a old thread, but in case someone else is asking this question You can cut the feedback wire right at the plug and forget about it, its not needed.
  13. I have got one, t2 flange HKS rear housing for gt30 $250
  14. should be able to get them from Repco, might have them in stock
  15. I have got a RB20DET auto ecu, $200 posted
  16. got a set of stock suspension in Newcastle NSW, $100
  17. =) Really nice car mate, I LOVE sydney kids suspension setup, the car handles better then my gts4 and is softer at the same time. The turbo needs a new actuator, it is flying open early which kinda sucks but you get that with turbo's that are this old. If anyone needs their car's sorted or you just not happy with how they are running then hit me up, I am in Newcastle NSW Pic is not Mike's
  18. I can sell you a rb25det neo bottom end for $700. just chuck all your stuff on it and off you go. cheap as
  19. I know this is a old thread. Does anyone have a picture of one of these rb30det pistons to suit a NEO head? cheers
  20. the gtx3071r will make the power that you need. if you are going e85 i would go a smaller turbo again. 400hp is very easy to achieve and you could get there on a stock motor without too much hassles
  21. i got a black series 2 with neo engine with 360kw at wheels 14k
  22. You are more then welcome on these forums mate, and what you are saying makes sense to me, I totally agree with you 100% that VCT is not needed on a setup like yours to get down the drag strip fast. Once you are off the 2 step and powering down the track the VCT would be of no benefit at all on a 9krpm 900hp drag engine. You mentioned that you have been playing with the virtual dyno, out of interest how close did you get? any pics of the results of a dyno run and the virtual plot? A dyno is just a tuning tool, and just because you have a dyno or know how to use one does not mean you are automatically a good tuner, Shane T who I have met in person can punch out amazing tunes remotely without a dyno with his advanced knowledge of how to process his datalogs.
  23. I find it easier to just ignore that jokers posts, but sometimes he comes up with some classics like this one to keep us entertained, lol I nearly fell off my chair for that one.
