  1. To me the sensor looks physically different to the original. My guess is wrong part.
  2. I'm not sure by way of systems these days but an alarm/immobilizer is only as good as the installation. I wouldn't recommend doing it on your own if you're not proficient with electrical or mechanical. A professional will know how to hide it all well.

  4. Mate find the service manual for your car which is readily available with all the info you require. I understand this is a community but help is offered to those who at least try to help themselves. Don't take it to heart.
  5. The revs if warm seem high. Did you make sure when you reconnected everything that it's all tight? Sounds like a hiss. That engine bay looks pretty weathered and I would hazard a guess and say some rubber hoses have split from being brittle after you moved the maf around.
  6. An even result across all cylinders for a 25 year old motor is a good figure.
  7. 100% they'll return. Stupid is as stupid does. You either let them get the car, or you catch them red handed and not let them leave. ??
  8. 1080p cameras with motion detection should be your next investment if you already haven't. I shudder reading posts like yours. Thieves infuriate me we work hard for our hobbies and home.
  9. Steve85 I'd go as far as changing your plates as they're on the internet now. No doubt in my mind that "hottie" cars are stolen by professionals, not your typical houso "eshay". These professionals could and often have corrupt individuals in state road authorities. Food for thought mate. Stay safe.
  10. Totally agree. It's why I don't post any pictures of my car. I've had one stolen before and it's a gut wrenching feeling. Back in March of this year I busted cu**s trying to get into my garage yet again but cameras and my trusty baseball bat stopped them. ? Sorry to say this guys but there are shit cu**s who troll forums looking for cars like this. Security is paramount.
  11. I had this issue a few years ago with another 33 we had. VicRoads wouldn't register the car without the 6Uxxx number being stamped onto the strut tower so we went to an import yard who did it for us for $10.
  12. Take your old AFM to a Burson or Repco and they do swap overs for reconditioned units.
  13. You need to post another pic of when she plays up with your reaction then. ?? Our love and hate relationship with our cars.
  14. Beautiful car mate. Love the LHD conversion. That's dedication. Keep it up.
  15. No worries. Give them a call some of these sites have no or limited info on what they sell I reckon they could help.
  16. Try this https://www.all-car-carpets.com.au/products/category/nissan/skyline/r34-gt/gt-r
  17. Rev the car to 1500ish and look out for a wobble in the steering wheel and gear knob when stationary. The balancer wobble of death. You could try to fix it but pay close attention to the keyway on the crank snout. If you've damaged that no matter what you do it will always come back loose. Fingers crossed for you.
  18. You won't make it 35k without someone calling cops and getting you pulled over. Just tow the thing will be cheaper than the fine you get.
  19. That's excellent info there mate. Thanks a lot for sharing, I did check my vehicle a while ago on nissan jp but this is even better.
  20. Could be an R rated car too and the seller just wants to piss it off fast. Eitherway it's not a "genuine" gtst just a conversion don't care how cheap I'd pass...
  21. I'm not sure about DE only DET. You can get 86.5mm oversize pistons so should be right?
  22. Is the car cold when doing this ? If so, yes condensation.
  23. If you know how to remove your alternator do It. I can be almost certain it's the voltage regulator, the armature rarely is a failure point. 9/10 It's the reg. Check earth points too never a bad idea while you're checking electrical. Not a massive job for an auto elec worth their salt.
