R33 gtst missfiring problem?
admS15 replied to Mitch r33's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I wouldn't not doubt the coilpacks in that assumption. I'm not saying that it is your coils either but if they're weak it shows up when boost and power increases. As above, if buying new coils stay away from the bright coloured ones unless they're the bluey purple ones, otherwise OEM or conversion. I'm going to entertain the R and R theory. -
Maybe in murica

The splits are definitely getting on at 10 years. It would be good if you could borrow a known good set off someone for a quick test. I'd offer you mine but pretty sure the 33 S2 are different from the neo ones.

Give yourself a pat on the back. Great to see people having a go. DIY is the way to go for most of these minor little odd jobs[emoji106]

Yes you could get to or close to 200rwkw on a stock turbo. I wouldn't go over 11-12psi as the ceramic turbine wheels tend to snap off. If you're already getting injectors you could highflow the stock turbo for around $900. Will get you to 250-260rwkw. Will also need a better fuel pump, better airflow meter unless the ems runs map sensor, Afm won't be required.

New clutch for my R33 Gtst
admS15 replied to HCD_Velcra's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I think golebys website has prices, used to anyway. For your application a single organic npc will do the job. Unless your planning to go for 350-400rwkw. My single npc is handling 310 easily and has copped plenty of abuse, still feels perfect other than a noisy thrust bearing. I would suggest using a genuine nissan thrust bearing rather than the npc supplied one. -

What Your Girlfriend Hates About Your Skyline Thread
admS15 replied to SLEEPR85's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
To avoid this, I have a bank account and credit card she doesn't have access to. I originally had this account linked to PayPal so it would be separated from our other accounts. She complains when she sees too many packages arrive, I explain that I got an unbelievable deal and what a score it was. I sometimes offer to show her the account with the least spending on it. Rarely happens. The bank account gets topped up from old car parts and things around the house I decide to sell but I usually pay the card off bit buy bit from our every day account. The money in the separate account then gets used for large purchases that she would complain about, like tyres, turbo upgrades, tuning etc. Every now and then I surprise order her a package of something she would like to keep her happy, kind of anyway. Have been getting away with it for a while now[emoji6] -

That's going to be sweet as with 25psi -
Used Jesse Streeter a few times. His prices are usually good and I've never had a problem with anything I've bought.
