  1. It's been a while since I've done back to back testing. About 10 years ago, I did a long coast drive in my R31, home to a rented holiday house (end of year uni gathering) + home. 1 full tank of Caltex 91, 1 full tank of Shell. Got 50 km extra from Shell. The dirty30 also liked the Shell better, but ran best with Mobil 91/95 (back when Mobil stations were still around). Bonus was the Mobil was closest to my old house haha. I found that BP ran well but didn't do as well mileage wise, Caltex was consistently the "worst" but there wasn't much difference. Once Caltex dropped regular 91, I avoided it like a plague (E10 stalled my R31 during cold starts). But yeah, 100% agree it varies between stations and varies between tanks (the underground tanks under the servos). A friend of mine full-tanked her old Cruze with 7 Eleven 95RON (different servo from my local), there was water in the petrol and it stalled her car. 7 Eleven paid for the mechanic's costs though (why I always get a receipt if I fill up elsewhere). Although, these days, my boat/best gen Liberty doesn't care what it drinks, as long as it's 95RON or better.
  2. Fatz's Winefulled Racing R31 was dropping below 1:05 around SMSP south (from memory), but that's a stripped out car with advanced F1-style aero.
  3. That's why I only use Mobil's finest 98RON petrol The fact that 7/11 is a minute from my house is a bonus
  4. There was a bloke with an R31, RB26DE with 12:1 comp ratio. I can't seem to find it around here.
  5. 2.5 years old thread?
  6. 60 W IEC 268-5? Whatever that means. No not sure if it's equivalent to RMS, but that's a pretty beefy speaker system for less than $100.
  7. I'd say invest in a tune for 91 RON fuel (does Nistune do R34s? I Haven't checked).
  8. Those 5-spoke wheels at the top look like Nismo 270R wheels.
  9. Search for "photobucket fix addon" for your browser.
  10. My LMGT1 were made in 1996. I believe the LMGT1 came in 18x9.5+14 and 18x10+20 (400R wheels). I haven't seen any other sizes. LMGT2 came in a range of sizes. I don't think the R32 GT-R came with Nismo wheels, although there is a grey-ish 6-spoke 16" Nismo wheel from the era (possibly for Silvia, non-GT-R R32 models). *edit* this one
  11. Nismo spec is 9.5" +38 Check this out http://www.trak-life.com/wheel-offsets-hellaflush-hellafunctional/
  12. Nice buy. Did you get rid of the VW?
  13. 185 wide tyres will do it
  14. Stock ECU tuned? Eh? Turn the boost down to 7 psi. Wait, does it actually boost? Did you drop the cat?
  15. Read the rules buddy, set a price or I'll delete this thread.
  16. Looks fine. You can get 18x9.5 +15 or 18x10 +22 (I don't see a 17x9.5 but there is 17x9 +12) Also, it's your car, what you think looks good is all that matters.
  17. FX-R is OEM-like spring-to-bowl mounting. The Minis have some weird lock ring mounting because of the threaded shaft (which I like to avoid as it's rubbish). Heat won't be an issue, it's the UV that kills the bowls. Use a good bulb (Philips or Osram) and you'll be fine.
  18. My original one (assuming) is still going strong... Ticking time bomb I suppose.
  19. What ECU? What boost pressure? What turbo? Probably broken turbine.
  20. You should video record it all and put it up on Youtube. Make a day of it, get your mates to cut one guard each. Put it on #ig and get some likes/e-fames.
  21. I have 2010 Auris headlights (called Corolla down here, trying to figure out a retrofit for them). It's pretty much the same as Camry and other Toyota H11 projectors. Any reason why you don't want to run HID? The Mini H1 is inferior, but smaller than the D2S projectors. No reason to get them as you can fit big projectors in the R32 headlights (like the FX-R). The links above should indicate how easy the Mini D2S or similarly sized projectors can fit.
