  1. Roughly 90 - 110 Nm. As above, stick with steel wheel nuts.
  2. It's all about the quality control.
  3. evoxenon posted some pictures of his R34 retrofit a few pages back, so it's fine I'd put stuff like "r34 bnr34 hid retrofit" so your posts comes up in searches.
  4. Bypass the boost controller. See how it goes then. Inspect those hoses.

Are you after Japanese history? http://lmgtfy.com/?s=b&q=japanese+history+check
  6. Energy polariser?
  7. How you can afford a $80k+ car in your early 20's is beyond me. I'd get a house first, then the BNR34 lol.
  8. Hurry up and finish it, so we can see some track action
  9. "American Navara" You're insane Duncan.
  10. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Skyline-V35-2003-2007-Coupe-LED-Angel-Eye-Projector-HEADLIGHT-Black-for-NISSAN-/360680438636 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DRL-CCFL-Angel-Eyes-Projector-Head-Lights-for-Nissan-Infiniti-Skyline-G35-V35-2D-/131139343838 Remember to ask for RHD. The projectors aren't that great, so you can retrofit. Not sure if if evoxenon is still around, but I can point you to an Aussie retrofitter if you like. $800+ for the Mars headlights, might as well retrofit. Get better results and you can customise the look. Added bonus is awesome low beam and insane high beam. Safety first
  11. Plenty of room for D2 projector, so I'd avoid H1 HID ones. But yes, much, better than the standard halogen.
  12. Perhaps the Commodore scene is different? *shrugs*
  13. That's why I said "looks a little faded". I've seen plenty of V35s with yellow, heavily faded headlights (some shitty blue HID bulbs in them). I didn't say you car was crap, it looks quite good. I was merely pointing something out that you might want to address, as faded headlights reduce output (i.e. dimmer headlights). The amount of cars I see around with barely visible reflectors and subsequent glare tells me that people aren't paying attention to it. But it's good your son sorted it out. Just remember to put a UV resistant clear over it (I have fading issues with my Subaru ones, so I polish the headlights every couple of months). If you're after the tinted look, I suggest splitting the headlights and painting the inside plastic bit (non-reflective surfaces), or even retrofit HID projectors in e.g. : There are 'blacked out' aftermarket headlights available with projectors, although they have rubbish halogen projectors. If you go down that path, I suggest splitting them and changing the projectors to something good (there are kits available for that as well). Lastly, I don't see the connection with my comment on your headlights to you being a female (it doesn't matter to me what your gender is, a car enthusiast is a car enthusiast). I've made a few comments on people's headlights being faded (not just this forum), because it's something that's easily fixed, has good positive results on look and safety. But hey, that's just my opinion Since you're from a race/rally background, can we expect to see you in race/hillclimb events? Would be cool to see more V35s out on tracks.
  14. I hear clicking coming from the passenger (left) side tail light area, is there where the solenoid is?
  15. Hey @Duncan I was going to buy a new filler cap, which restrictor are you talking about? https://partsouq.com/en/catalog/genuine/unit?c=Nissan&ssd=%24HQARW1d0BAQHAQ8VOjlfR0dwa1lZV1gADhM%24&vid=16459&cid=1&uid=473806&q=
  16. No.
  17. Those headlights look a little faded.
  18. Lots of people have, it's quite easy. Grab yourself a set of projector headlights and open them up. E.g. http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/makeuw3ts-guide-to-retrofitting-tsx-projectors-in-silvia-headlights.html Current choice of projector would be Morimoto Mini D2S 4.0, as they're quite compact and you can use OEM D2S bulbs.
  19. http://racing.natsoft.com.au/640007122/object_76368.85A/Result?1 *edit* link doesn't work, just browse from Natsoft's main page.
  20. Mini H1 5.0 with some random "4300K" H1 bulbs. Not worth it, use D2S projectors.
