  1. That was 7+ years ago, rocking the wannabe dad body now.. also I'm married and no more music festivals to walk around shirtless & flex to the bishes
  2. In before anyone else, Samsonas.
  3. That's still very impressive! Great work also glad the Elig Pads are performing well! They do get s bit squealy when warm but it's that or non working EBC like brake pads lol
  4. If I was to build a motor again (hope I never do it again) then straight up Nitto oil pump with their collar. A poor man, pays twice. I've bought 2x sets of Spool gears, 1x brand new N1 oil pump. All that equals a new Nitto oil pump with change left over.
  5. How are you snapping input shafts on a R33 box with only 600hp? I would be more concerned there's another issue. @Yonz has a CD009 box in, however no idea if he's around here anymore.
  6. Thr shit box when I first picked it up, needed to make it dose to be a mad karnt.
  7. Run big FMIC, long pipe work, delete the AFM and install an intake pipe that's long to increase dose. Delete the BOV, 100%. Not mandatory for cars running low boost, you're not going to blow off any cooler pipes when thr throttle closes or bend ang throttle plates.
  8. Get a new housing, I made the mistake of using an old housing with billet gears and this was the result. Must have been a mixture of free play and version 1 of the Spool gears. I'm on the second version with a brand new N1 housing and it's been good since.
  9. keep me in the loop, maybe when it's ready I would have moved into a bigger place with more room to play with the boat
  10. Nailed it, I'll take the DQ500 thanks. If the one in the boat falls out, just pull it out from the missus' Tiguan and I'll be good again.
  11. you also need a Nistune license, and generally an AFR is very helpful however if you're babying the car the STFT should be enough to keep your car at stoich on cruise provided your stock narrowband works.
  12. Wow not bad for a gazebo spray job, not bad at all!
  13. Minimum requirements: 500kW at the rear Samsonas Full crew with same shirts
  14. @Samsonas please sponsor our Nissan shit boxes. @ActionDan @Count Grantleyish and myself deserve one each.
  15. Would be a sensible approach, however when you think about it.. most 350/370Z don't produce very much power. Given that assumption, you would think the boxes are less thrashed than a Skyline box. Kind of how you would compare a high class escort to a hooker around the bowlos.
  16. Imagine I did, just imagine that! But reality, this non-Don Mega Ham build will probably just end up with a 350Z CD009 box.
  17. My car is full of cheap non-NASA spec parts, hence can afford to push it right up to the limits and over too. I'm sure I'm over speeding that Garrett non-NASA spec turbo, oh wells ?
  18. Going Wakefield 14th September, you come. We'll see who shreds a gearbox 1st.
  19. Rather this than a swimming pool ?
  20. Too lazy to deal with FB Marketplace flat brimmers, in the recycling bin it goes ?
  21. It's also the flow capacity of the return flow, we saw that Tao at @hypergear did a back to back with just a different FMIC and gains were seen instantly. If you measure pressure pre and post cooler you'll see the issue. Sub 400kW, ARP head studs should be enough with the stock OEM gasket on a R34 motor. I was doing 370kW+ on a tired Edward Lee's Odo Windback Special motor with just head studs for a couple of years before it went bang boom ?
  22. $850 later, ready for garage parking competition. New seals, new bearings, added 2x shims, backlash reduced a bit. Just need to redo the ABS wiring, sometime in the past (not during my ownership) someone cut the plug and rejoined it poorly. When I put in the 2 way centre I never bothered to fix it because the mindset was "cheap track car, don't care". Fast forward 7 years or so it's not a very cheap track car anymore ?
