This coolant hose looks fun to get to...
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to inmaniac's topic in General Maintenance
fuuarkk.. fun times I've had that split on my current car (old motor) ended up replacing it with EFI hose and ran a braided china-spec ling long dim line to the turbo. New motor has proper 4-ply eBay silicon hose to the braided water line lololol... Someone come swap me their BMW 335i for my entire car/motor -

Buy @vesh's one... put in an interior and take it to Moey DW at Lakemba for a blue slip or any of his 10000 cousins. -

Stock block is amazing!! might need some MTs at this rate Try the Nankang AR-1 for budget semis (yes they're circuit tyres, but as they're super soft they would hook up on the straight), they should help if you don't want to spend the money on MTs -
Rb25Det Clutch Problem
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Bruno P's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
if you want a cheaper alternative to the Nismo twin, get a NPC Organic clutch. They utilise a 10" (a brand new modified Exedy clutch to their specs). Sprung centre, organic material, 1.7 ton clamping force. Pedal effort is same -
My part time/side hobby is to build race cars, install electrical hardware into them and dyno tune them. I provide free technical support for users and often touch up tunes for people for cases of beer (and they of course pay for the dyno hire). I am also a Nistune dealer and tuner so is that enough info for you Peter? My day to day job, I work as a business analyst.

I'm on both sides of here, however you have many invalid points stated above Peter. Even at E50 there's enough knock resistance you can happily run the same amount of boost and timing as you did on E85. And remember it's now 2018 not 2008, we have stainless internal injectors and fuel pumps specifically made for E85. There are pros and cons for both setups, neither of which are perfect.

R33 Gtst rear end knock
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to admS15's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Still OEM subframe bushes? Even with subframe lock collars they will moved a tiny bit and will clunk. I had that issue and went all jihadi-ish on the subframe bushes and replaced them. Note to anyone trying to do it, just drive it to a shop. Not worth DIYing. -
They seem to have "some" flex, I'm skeptical. Run both for now, if they're shit I'm going to send it.... Into the bin. Hopefully, the RB is somewhat more "balanced" than a tractor motor lol. Hoping to get the motor in this weekend.

New dip stick, just because lol. And these engine mounts, was going to get Nismo ones but Phil insisted I get these whilst he ordered a set for his S15. TBH I think they're gay as aids, drove his S15 and could feel engine vibrations through the steering column. But that's a stock bottom, unbalanced S15 so Yeah.

You sir sound very uneducated saying that I would happily take a RB25 NEO head. -

Just sell the car, never log in again and buy a BMW M3 or Mercedes C63 AMG.
