  1. Should speak to Andy @ Adaptronic about it! He really hates the idea you need to change the CAS disc to run their ECU. Another alternative for you yankies/wrong hand drive countrymen is ECUMaster. Mark at MRC said they're great to work with and are good value.
  2. Well said... now RB30 build & Samsonas box @skippyyy ?
  3. 3x months later I've gotten my crank back, what an adventure with that shop. Not to mention they decided to charge me more as well, what arseholes. Anyhow that aside, I've gotten my cam covers powder coated black because stealth is best.
  4. Diffs will last if you don't constantly abuse them with track use. Mine has been too probably about 20 track days and still locks up hard then power is down. Also whatever you do, do not pour Redline Shock Proof oil into a clutch pack mechanical LSD. I saw one for sale not long ago where it was filled with the smurf's blood.
  5. But AEM ECUs will have massive issues with the Nissan CAS and their solution is to crack open your CAS and install their disc.
  6. I've found the LC range complete garbage and will either blow sensors or the controller will just die. Most of those cars that were originally fitted with LC-2 have now been replaced with AEM UEGO gauges. The MTX-L (when they first came out) same deal, would first destroy sensors then give you an E9 error then eventually the gauge stops working even with new sensors. However I was able to get a new gauge through warranty and so far it's been ok (when the car was running). The only reason I've stuck with innovate is because of serial out which integrates with my Adaptronic.
  7. They might have RPM limits due to the design and material used, but you need to remember these are the best turbos you can get for the money. Good example, look at all the WTAC cars.. they are all very competitive and majority of teams are using them, must mean something. Yes, Garrett & Precision turbos might be a bit more resilient with overspun wheels however they don't offer the performance close to a BW. Also, more boost doesn't mean more power once you've gone past the turbo's efficiency. Pretty simple really @usmair, you seem like a pretty smart guy don't be making comments that put you down.
  8. Oh wells at least he is happy I'm sure I've done many wrong things too, like mod my shit box. Should have just bought a 335i E90 BMW for the same money.
  9. See if you can cancel your mishi radiator purchase. If you're buying Mishimotor... you might as well get ASI (being honest here).
  10. Nistune and new coilpacks that are blue and called Splitfire. Don't try any other colour or brand.
  11. Jesus. Why not put in a stock NEO motor and the same turbo as you've bought? Then just throw in a set of 1000cc run the stock reg etc. Would make a healthy 240/250kW on 98RON.
  12. Should have asked me to hook you up with a Plazmaman plenum. Also piss off the PCV
  13. Interesting back several years ago they were not recommending very high spring rates for the Blues so things must have changed. I was probably one of the very first to get the X-R becauae Josh didn't even have proper boxes made so mine came in cut up old cardboard boxes LOL! Nevertheless for the money they are excellent even when compared against other coilovers at 1.5x the cost. Part of me wishes I just went straight to the Reds.
  14. I would be selling you the NEO pistons, rings, rods
  15. If money permits and you're planning to track I would skip the MCA Blue and jump straight into the X range. Problem with the blue range is that Josh and the team refuse to run stiffer springs on then due to the damper limitations so if you intend to track you'll end up with a suspension setup that is way too soft and pitch, roll all over the place. FWIW I am running 10/7 kg springs in my R33 shit box and that to me on Wakefield is boarder line too soft. Yes some will say correct it with anti-roll bars to stop the roll etc. But what you end up with is a car that's extremely snappy as there is lack of lean and naturally the inner turning wheel will try and move the same way the outer wheel is.
  16. Whenever my car is back on the road take it for a spin, I run them
  17. Don't do it man You'll hear me go "told you so" again. If budget is a criterion, I suggest BC BR coil overs. if you can stretch the budget a little MCA X-R would be perfect for road/track use
  18. Alternatively if you're on a budget and your bores are still good, your crank is still in good shape I just find a used set of NEO pistons/rods/bearings. I have a set of 6x NEO Pistons/Rods/Bearings from a 120xxx automatic Stagea up for sale if you're interested? This will compliment your NEO head and budget.
  19. I have a spare starter from a RB25 (I assume RB26 same?)
  20. I have N1 gears from a NEO motor if anyone wants them cheap.. will swap for a 6 pack of decent beer.
  21. I said you could borrow it before lolol.. I thought I could use them on the NEO head but it doesn't fit
