  1. So they won't renew for existing policy holders?
  2. Sigh if only you paid attention to what I said over at Nissan Silvia forums
  3. Edward would cum his pants lol Can't wait to dose again, with an older GT style compressor wheel it will dose great ??
  4. Do you have several policies? I have home contents and 2x cars with NRMA.. probably why they keep on renewing? just speculation
  5. Oh yeah, ARP 2000 studs and Tomei head gasket. She's now sealed up One last time to admire the head before it gets all dirty Sealed up, time to get everything else on before December. Because we all know how useless I become in December lol
  6. More OEM goodness, special thanks to Andrew @ Kudos Motorsports for the parts. Cheaper, faster than Nissan themselves so winner in my books! Ooo.. The dowels are in, more soon Stock pistons look good after a clean ?
  7. Looks like racing pedigree bako has now experienced a non Japanese turbo and enjoys it lol.
  8. I am still covered by NRMA VVC Insurance for my shit box R33 GTS-t trash can.. however it is because the policy maybe 'grandfathered' or whatever the term is. Haven't driven it in a year (for obvious reasons) but it still has full comprehensive insurance on it because I'm scared of not being able to re-insure it if I put it on hold or cancel it. My SP25 daily cost 3x times more to insure and the agreed value on both cars are the same lololol.
  9. Oooo I see Intima pads How do you find the Type-D?
  10. buy buy buy... good for those who have a NA motor and want to lower the static compression and slap on a decent sized turbo!
  11. Ethanol won't save ringlands though, mine died after a solid year of abuse at Wakefield making 372kW. Prior to that nearly 2 years at 330kW.
  12. A journal bearing twin scroll single turbo, I would dare say would perform better than a set of twins that produce like for like power output.
  13. Sydney, to be precise Canley Vale. Also I only have access to RWD dynos (pre-empting the next question)
  14. If you're in Sydney I have the following items of which may benefit you: RB25DET NEO Head Bolts/Washer RB25DET NEO Intake/Exhaust Cam Shafts RB25DET NEO Pistons and Rods RB25DET NEO Injectors RB25DET NEO OEM Head Gasket (brand new) RB25DET NEO OEM Exhaust Manifold Gasket (brand new)
  15. tune related, what are your AFRs like? I suspect it is too lean now, do you have a wideband? log it... a simple, albeit lazy way to correct this is to reduce the size of your injectors in the ECU so it sprays more. Lazy mathematics say you would need to decrease your injector size by 7% (given the lazy way to go from 98RON to E85 is to reduce the injector size by 30%)
  16. Run full flex, pour in anything. Or just tune it on United and run aggressive O2 correction (higher correction threshold and slightly higher P & I on the closed loop setting) so when it's on Caltex it's not overly rich.
  17. Nissan manual advises to use gasket maker, so should be on point. I really hate putting it together.
  18. Haha mate he has more knowledge than anyone on this forum. Not to mention is a top bloke. Has sorted issues I've had with setup a at weird hours of the day even when I was on the dyno.
  19. Spent part of Sunday going through my collection of nuts and bolts from last year. Not fun, also turns out the service manual doesn't tell you of bolt lengths to use lol. Modified RWD pickup installed, one day this motor could go into a GTR lol.. 0.1L smaller but higher compression, has VCT, billet oil pump gears so it won't go bang! Installed water pump, ancillary bracket as well as the alternator. Whilst installing the water pump with gasket maker I then rummaged through the box and found a gasket for it lol.. too bad so sad. Another hiccup was that the Stagea engine mount brackets/arms are no good in the R33 so will need to source RWD ones. Then as I was installing the knock sensors followed by the OEM oil pressure sensor - I realised the NEO uses a different one so derp.. need a R33 one.
  20. Way too soft, I'm running 10/7 on MCA X-R and that's too soft for my liking. With some basic aero I would go even 12/9 and run softer ARB to promote roll for lateral grip.
  21. he was like Paul Version 1.0, twins, lag was life. Paul Version 2.0 is about usable power, better heat management and less homosexuality.
  22. Watch me make 450kW+ on a stock modified manifold ?
