  1. Looks good...how does it go?
  2. Thought I replied yesterday but... If your device just alters the fuelling you just need to find a workshop with an AFR gauge and they can tune it (on the road) for you.
  3. Did you search with Google? There is heaps of info on that subject.
  4. What's AYC? GTSTs are probably older than you are so to make them competitive with an Evo will require the expenditure of loads of cash. As my local workshop guy says "anything is possible if you have the will, the time, and the money".
  5. Have you filled the tank with fresh fuel?
  6. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/APEXI-Power-FC-ECU-ONLY-FOR-NISSAN-ECR33-RB25DET-8-93-5-98-414BN032/153059081514?hash=item23a3083d2a:g:iLwAAOSwnOtbH23e or https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/APEXI-Power-FC-1992-1995-FOR-NISSAN-SKYLINE-ECR33-GTST-414-BN032/182394545050?epid=616107272&hash=item2a778fe39a:g:WP8AAOSwEzxYWNFC but in 2019 I would suggest a Link ECU or similar.
  7. Yes please. Let us know how it goes!
  8. No. Your exhaust must terminate behind the rear bumper. Check your catback to see if it is the same diameter throughout. Many JDM systems have a 2 1/2 in restriction at some point.
  9. Have you asked the supplier?
  10. Check CAS for worn bearing, damaged drive or dodgy connections.
  11. Problem is you can't tune it so its a lucky dip. You won't know if its good or bad unless you dyno the car.. Better to get a Nistune chip.
  12. I got my car certified for all the mods. Yes it cost $600 but that's peanuts compared to the $$$ I poured in to the mods. In NZ all the mods that are allowable if certed are covered by regs so you make sure your car can be approved before you get an inspection. If in doubt or you don't have access to such regs talk to an inspector before you start to make sure its going to be able to be certed.
  13. Did you read Duncan's answer regarding differences in actual size versus nominal size among manufacturers? Are your new tyres the same brand and type (and sourced from the same factory/country) as your previous tyres? Do you have stock wheels and if not what is the width and offset of your current wheels? Another possibility is that you have whacked a kerb with that wheel and damaged the suspension. Spacers are not the only fix. Other solutions are different wheels, tyres, or lock stops.
  14. Your car will explode in a ball of flames.
  15. As above...but if you need parts you just need to go to the right Nissan dealer. Some will not want to know but others will order them in for you. No one will be listing parts from an auto box. If you want to go second hand you have to approach the specialist Nissan wreckers and tell them what you want.
  16. Not sure C34 ecu is in LH kick panel but M35 may be behind glovebox. Google for instructions on how to get access.
  17. Current or former aftermarket ecu?
  18. First of all why did you change the radiator? If it was ok before then revert to the stock set up and sell the Mishimoto. While you have it apart remove the thermostat and back flush the block. Fit a stock thermostat. Then test the new one to see if it was faulty. Even if it is not, a low temp thermostat just opens earlier. Once open it has no effect what so ever on the running temps of the engine.
  19. Fair enough . Have you had a read of this? https://gearsmagazine.com/magazine/stop-wasting-money-on-jatco-cvt-stepper-motors/ I assume since you have had the stepper motor out you have changed the (special) cvt fluid and filter. If you have the energy you could follow this article. test the stepper motor and clean the valve body. Have you got a price from Nissan for the stepper motor should it be required?
  20. Did you read my post? Are you going to buy a stepper motor?
  21. Replacement of the stepper motor in the CVT will cost a few bucks. Probably only a Nissan dealer will have the scanner that will pinpoint the problem so pay the money for a scan. Then try to find a better auto transmission repair shop for a quote on the repair. My local shop could do it but its in Auckland NZ. Here's a motor if you want to have a go yourself( look around on ebay ...some of the ads have the gearbox no so see if you can find the number of your transmission. Obviously they all come freight free from China or you could order through Nissan for much more money (or get a second hand tranny - but a second hand CVT???!!!) : https://www.ebay.com/itm/Transmission-CVT-Step-Stepper-Motor-Fits-for-Nissan-Altima-Maxima-Murano-G9Q3/184024592323?epid=11035033092&hash=item2ad8b86fc3:g:HIAAAOSwA3ddwlUt or: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Replaceable-JF009E-Motor-CVT-Step-Stepper-Motor-For-Nissan-Altima-Maxima-Murano/183887427296?epid=18033871363&hash=item2ad08b76e0:g:zAcAAOSwN2ZdLo4S or you should be able to order it though Nissan for megabucks.
  22. If you scroll down the page there is a thread on PAR gearsets. Read that and go from there.
  23. There is a swag of them if you google for example "G35 wiring diagram"!
  24. Quite possibly. As above sell to someone who wants a project and buy a viable car. How long have you had the car? Next time start a program of regular maintenance and tackle problems one at a time as they arise.
