  2. So have mine and many others. They are good bang for buck and within your price range. Go for the plain unslotted version.
  3. Unfortunately, its the way a lot of people roll these days. May as well offer you a dim sim and half a piece of flake. It is frustrating I know but eventually you get a decent person making a decent offer. Its f**ked but that's the way its becoming.
  4. They have the buy 3 get 1 free offer running again atm.
  5. Lol. Yeah it's got a dyson animal stick in it mate.
  6. Hey man as far as removing the turbo. Are you chasing more power? If not I would leave it as is. Mine has been making the whine noise for the 3 years I've had it and the 2 years the previous owner had it. It's still going strong with around 130k on the clock. There's guys pushing 200k and still going on factory turbo. If you are after more power, then get it out of there quick smart.
  7. Welcome. Nice car. I likey. What turbo is on it and what sort of power is it making?
  8. Came up good after a wash. Happy days again.
  9. This is what I have, (not actual rims) Pm if interested. I am located in s.e suburbs near Springvale.
  10. The rims you have pictured are R34 GT rims. I have a pair (2) of R33 gtst rims with tyres if your interested. $50 would make them yours.
  11. Aftermarket, Cyclops brand. Fitted in Oz 3-4 years ago. Would not recommend [emoji107]
  12. Next time you go, make sure you're in a mates car. Problem solved[emoji106]
  13. Nice diy there. They turned out quite well. Good work[emoji106]
  14. Hey guys, the stag is back in action. Had it towed to Scotty's. Tried a couple different front fuse box units, didn't help. Put it on the scanner and could communicate with the bcm but not the rest of the cars systems. Changed the bcm in the driver's footwell, still no go. At this point heads where being scratched and I went home with my tail between my legs. Today, I couldn't stop thinking about what the problem could be. I googled my arse off and found an installers manual with wiring diagram for the alarm system on supra forums of all places. There was also some info about the internal relays of the immobiliser failing. Armed with this, I went to Scotty's and started pull dash trims out and found the alarm main box, gave it a few love taps and boom, we have power. So, this whole debacle was caused by a dying immobiliser. The stag was not to blame at all. Drove the car home and gave it a nice bath. It seems to be working fine now but I won't be risking a repeat and will have the alarm removed and replaced with something new. Thanks for all the suggestions guys and to Scott for accepting the job on short notice and providing the spares for troubleshooting [emoji106][emoji106]
  15. Nice brakes. They look the business. Are they r35 brembo?
  16. Haltech fuel economy . Would have got 13L/100km with a power fc.
  17. Thanks for the replies guys. It does sound like bcm. The car is being diagnosed. I will update when the diagnosis comes in.
  18. Went to the shops earlier tonight with the mrs and baby. Did the shopping, came back out tried to start the car, no go. Forf**ksake, No dash lights at all. It's like the immobiliser is on. I bypassed the alarm with the security code, still nothing. I noticed when I initially tried to start the car, the rear wiper randomly came on, it is stuck half way through its stroke. I'm thinking it's shorted and fried something. Interior, exterior lights central locking, alarm and tailgate closer/lock are still working but anything requiring ignition power does not. Anyway, I got a lift home and came back with tools. Checked all the fuses in the footwell and in the engine bay, also behind the battery, where all good. I also swapped around all the relays one by one trying to hopefully get some power, still no success. I called it a night and left the car at the shops. I also noticed the little black box below the fusebox in the driver's footwell clicking when I was trying to crank. I'm wondering what that unit does and if it could be the source of my issues. Does anybody have any suggestions of anything I can Check? Has anyone had a similar experience? Does it sound like immobiliser is possibly rooted and causing this. Suggestions please. Thanks in advance.
  19. Just needs some balls at the bottom [emoji16]
  20. also try unplugging afm and starting then. If it does start, you should be able to limp it home.
  21. yes and running it in boost by ethanol % mode. Its recently been added to the adaptronic software package. I have it set to run around 20 psi when ethanol % is over 65 and 18 psi when under that. Does it automatically.Tried running 22 psi but decided against it due to wheelspin issues in the mid range.
  22. Vic isn't that bad as long as you play it a bit smart and not go asking for trouble.
  23. That particular 1 is called adaptrackit and is available for use with Android devices with 4.4 onward software in conjunction with adaptronic ecu's.
  24. No bonnet popping, he just had a quick outside visual. I didn't get smart with him in any way. I'm pretty lucky he didn't go through the whole car. I've seen the same cop at that booze bus site putting plenty of skylines and dumped commodores off the road. I was expecting an epa letter in the mail but it's been a couple months and it's been all good.
