  1. You might get done for a blueslip if you do it dodgy-ly, as you'll need different crossmember and tailshaft.
  2. I don't love it. One time I was filling up petrol, some lebo guy comes up to me and asks to race, a bit aggressively as they tend to do. I laughed and told him I'll see him at Wakefield.
  3. Nah power difference will negligible. You have better/more important things to spend your money on.
  4. $50 heat gun from Bunnings is handy. Even rolled a few guards with its help
  5. Get an exhaust shop to change your rear muffler (a.k.a. diff-back). Ask them to put a flange on it so you can swap back to standard when you feel like it.
  6. MCA Blue If you want to lower your car, you'll have to look at adjustable arms or at least offset camber bushes.
  7. Save up $1,500.
  8. You shouldn't have to replace it, hell it was fine for my R32 headlights (I haven't replaced any butyl in all the lights I've taken apart). I think baking is around 120°C for a few minutes. I use a heat gun these days to soften the glue and avoid messing the oven/melting plastics.
  9. Bake/heat headlight, take apart, prep the surfaces, paint, let it dry overnight, assemble, bake/heat.
  10. Jesse Streeter will bid on your behalf. If you win them, he'll send it to you. Jesse can also buy parts directly from manufacturers (e.g. I got my Cusco brake master cylinder stopper from Cusco via Jesse, cheaper than getting one off YAJ).
  11. Buy something that fits? You could enlarge the holes, depends how desperate you are at having those wheels.
  12. The links at the positive terminal, checked/cleaned them?
  13. Hey those serial cables are getting harder to find these days Nice full NIsmo gauge set.
  14. Nice work. Looks like you have a mint GT-R. Congratulations
  15. Hey man, HICAS has its uses
  16. Try this: http://www.japanesehistorycheck.com/ They should give a run down of the auction sheet (if they can get the history of your car). But I tend to ignore kms (unless the car has properly filled log books, then I know its service history) and assume the car will need a major service. Condition of body, mechanical, electrical, etc components. is more important than the odo numbers to me. It sounds like the car was well looked after, so you shouldn't have any major issues
  17. Ya Nismo meter means swap, so kms will be lower than actual (unless dealer fitted, which would be awesome). Engine bay does look dirty, almost like a radiator hose split (and wasn't cleaned up properly). But of course could be just dirt. Random coloured coilpack and timing gears cover too. I know I'm nit picking, but people should be wary of things like low km before trying to extract more performance out of them (instead of modding a "low km" dodgy import, breaking something, then declaring imports as shit). I'd always sus out the low mileage on imports, but hey, if the rest of the car is fine, then it's a good buy . Great effort on getting one though, I heard they are super hard to attain over there. You shouldn't have electrical issues like the R32 can have
  18. Update the price it to $2,500 lol
  19. Ultimate N1 garage. Need to open a museum Terry haha.
  20. Pull the cluster surround off, then pull the headlight switch off. Pop the cover off and inspect the pins. My car came with a burnt plug (probably caused by crappy 100W bulbs). I spliced a good condition plug in and wired up some relays for the headlights.
  21. Your 4pots should be fine, with pads such as Intima SR and fresh super DOT4 fluid. If you want bigger, get the ATTKD kits.
