  1. Yeah I cleaned mine up twice before changing it to a decent condition one. Also had burnt plugs. 100W bulbs don't work. Standard wiring has H4 plug with an "adaptor/splitter" type thing that splits it to H3 and H1.
  2. Standard ECU, standard engine, standard exhaust, standard wheels with cheapo tyres (came with the car, contributed to its demise). I managed to drop a coilpack bolt into the engine, and when it spat it out, it destroyed the standard ceramic turbo. Hence the NEO6 turbo "upgrade". I was shocked it was doing so well with fuel usage, but I guess being off boost until 3k and averaging like 20 km/h helps haha. GT-R on the other hand, 14L/100km or worse .
  3. R32s have headlight relays? Buy H4 relay harness (or make your own), don't rely on the standard switch setup.
  4. There was an N/A RB26 with 12:1 compression, don't know what happened to that R31.
  5. yeah BC BR generic dampers and springs with car specific mounts. Get them and set the height, then set the dampers how you like.
  6. 100% stock but with a NEO6 turbo, it's off boost most of the time. Seriously, easily got 600km out of a tank. And I was driving across Sydney.
  7. My old R32 Type-M used to do 9L/100km in traffic
  8. Which is why I like the Philips 'vision' T10, they aren't brighter than incandescent and have a good spread pattern (essentially emulating the incandescent). Essentially look like LEDs out of a 2005-ish Lexus.
  9. Contact the guy, tell them you want comfortable street suspension. If they can't help you, look elsewhere. You don't want high spring rates unless they're valved really well, you want something a low lower like 6/4 or get standard/Nismo suspension. Or just get BC coilovers Link to Nismo S-Tune suspension: https://www.rhdjapan.com/nismo-s-tune-suspension-system-kit-r32.html
  10. Feels a bit like they're the Edward Lees of machining
  11. Healthy RB20DE NEO should go alright.
  12. A few servos have contaminated fuel.
  13. Don't modify it. Drive it around, save up, get off your P's, sell car and get a factory turbo car.
  14. Yeah Fortune is equiv to MCA imo You can also get KYB/Koni/Bilstein + springs (probably easier to get it from Japan).
  15. Sadly KW don't do a kit for R32 non-GTR (as far as I know), otherwise I'd suggest them. Or maybe they do?
  16. Oh right. You guys have Fortune Coilovers over there I think, maybe that person can whip something up for you. Or try Shockworks. Perhaps MCA can send you a set (no idea if you have distributors there).
  17. I went from Ohlins to TEIN to HKS Although, Ohlins are nice for the road but too soft for track work. TEINs not stiff enough for track, too stiff for road, HKS just good enough to keep me somewhat satisfied. All second hand units of course But yeah, slap some MCA street on
  18. As mentioned above, higher positive number = closer to strut. Nismo sizes: 8.5" +35, 9.5 +38
  19. I would go low +30's
  20. Your last sentence should tell you to change them out to better suspension. The tops look like old HKS but who knows what they are.
  21. Hmm, I don't remember from the R31 Skyline Club days but you can ask there if no-one replies here. But, they should be the same, maybe.
  22. Excuse you sir, Philips 4000K LEDs look just fine on my R32, although I do have HID projectors with OE Philips D2S bulbs. Although they are quite expensive (~$25 a pair for T10) so not worth it unless they're on sale. The issue of firing pattern has been brought up, so better to stick to standard incandescent bulbs. I only have the parkers and interior lights in LED.
