  1. Nistune does allow you to pull timing based on IAT, however that's about it. Byou default that entire table is set to 0. The beauty of an AFM is that there no need for fueling correction based on the air temp. When replacing the sensor I suggest you do tests to see if the voltage range is similar if not you'll have a fun time guessing the values on Nistune where the ecu could think it's 30 degrees Celsius however it might be actually 50 degrees Celsius.
  2. Everyone loves a good head job. Progress Shot: Blew Load Shots:
  3. remember it's not all just the caliper and rotor size.. Brake pads, rotor material/cooling design and brake fluid all adds to it. No point getting a set of Alcons with eBay rotors and running pads like QFM A1RM and expect them to stop on the track.
  4. If a tuner choses to "tune" your car using the hand controller, they deserve to be shot.
  5. But Plazmaman better..
  6. Disclaimer, those who are using my map please put your car on the dyno shave off a few degrees and work your way back up and at the same time keep an eye out on the afrs. Unless you have identical mods as mine down to the exhaust system which I doubt lol... if so let's call it stage 1000
  7. So used the gates website and I can see that both use the same ribs.. however length is different due to the drive: 4 Rib A/C Belt: R34 RB25DET NEO is 915mm R33 RB25DET S1/2 is 915mm 4 Rib Water Pump/Alternator Belt: R34 RB25DET NEO is 890mm R33 RB25DET S1/2 is 855mm Turns out the R34 uses a 4 Rib Power Steering Belt and the R33 uses a 3 Rib. Guess I've answered my own questions haha.
  8. head being sent off, getting a few basic things done: light skim for straightness a good clean because it's dirtier than a kings cross hooker installation of stiffer valve springs, titanium retainers installation of cams and shims check/replaced to suit Also are R33 and R34 RB25DET balancers the same? well I know the R34 under drives the AC compared to the R33 one.. but are the ribs the same? I have a R34 NEO going in but with R33 PS, AC.. so thought it would be best to use the R33 balancer for obvious reasons. Searching the site (on Google) didn't reveal any answers.
  9. Dose 4 Lyfe, No Ragrets.
  10. If it's non vspec just get R33 or R34 or Z33 brakes and fit them.
  11. PM me your email address
  12. Happy to send it to anyone and also my final map on my previous motor that spat out ring lands after a years worth of abuse at 370kW+ on the track (not tune related, motor had over 300k kms, and an average of 1.7bar of boost through it - note completely stock unopened, bar head studs). I believe you can import the map into the modular ECU, at the very least the the tables you need.
  13. Why? Stock manifold is fine for your power levels.
  14. Adaptronic is a great ECU if you spend heaps of time scaling everything properly, setting up all the tables and working on the timing map to be as near OEM as possible before you start tuning. This is something most tuners don't do because I've seen a good handful of tunes by so called big tuners and they're horrid. I'm happy to provide anyone with a very good base map to work with, has all the sensors scaled properly, timing map (off boost) as close to oem as possible and all the cranking tables defined nicely so it starts in any weather. However if you're going to send it to a shop, get a Haltech because their base maps are very good meaning your favourite tuner won't need to do much work to make the car drive well.
  15. Plazmaman piping, then go weld on your favourite plumb back BOV. I can supply you Plazaman pipe work like my car, you'll probably ignore this post like every other post I write that's informative.
  16. That's how a particular workshop tunes actually (not the one your car is at).
  17. or a stupid useless hand controller
  18. But a stock RB20DET with Nistune and the feature pack can control VCT, run full flex, launch control and basic engine protection strategies such as RPM limit vs. coolant temp and max TP Load vs RPM fuel cuts - which a PowerFC cannot do at all. Sell PowerFC, get Nistune, left over money from PowerFC proceeds to buy a flex sensor.
  19. You'll fall asleep driving a stock R33 GT-R... even a stock R34 GT-R is boring.. I hired one and drove around Japan in one for a whole day.. zzzzzzzzzzz
