ecr33 narrowband from plx afr for ecu
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to thebe's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Some widebands require a sensor ground to be connected such as the AEM UEGO or AEM Failsafe. Conenct the sensor ground with all the other sensor grounds next to the ECU.. there will be 2x bunches of sensor grounds connected to the body work.- 10 replies

Cut Pin 29, and wire that to the narrowband output... i.e. Wideband 02's narrowband output -> ECU- 10 replies

WTB: Oil Filter Mount/Housing from RB20DE/T or RB25DE or RB30E/T Wallah, I am after an oil filter mount/housing from a RB20DE/T or RB25DE (early model) or RB30E/T. They are like the RB25DET one however without the water/oil heat exchanger. I am happy to pay about $50 for it (considering an entire RB20 motor is worth like $200~$300). Location: Canley Vale, NSW

Cheapest option is to gap plugs down to 0.6mm lol. I run mine at 0.5mm, never misfires -

Yes, I do it all the time for cars I tune as their stock o2 is often cactus and I always recommend they install widebands. The beauty of simulation is that you can define the voltage output vs the AFR so at times you can be smart about it and move afr range towards the leaner region so you end up cruising at 15.5- 10 replies

And didn't I advise of the billet hollow tube from PPG about 10 pages ago? -
Run 3.5bar base fuel pressure, delete the in tank damper/pressure relief valve (if it's there). Tell your tuner to derive the RPM from the road speed. You set this in the Analyse Screen (F2) and it's under Settings Menu -> Derived RPM vs Speed. Increase the load hold speed to about 100km/h, run the car up to that speed and hit learn (or whatever the button is called). Hate seeing dyno sheets without RPM and yeah those torque figures are through the roof because there's no RPM.

And don't earth the Z32 to the chassis, send both earth/-ve back to sensor ground on the ECU to avoid any issues. And, why not a R35? High reduction in reversion issues. If you're in Sydney and need a base tune/road tune to get your favourite tuner I can provide that service. Even full tunes, however only if there are no issues with wiring, setup etc. (I hate diagnosing faults or fixing people's mistakes). -
Well what pads have you experienced? You have yet to disclose what pads you've used before and how they perform. Because I find it hard to believe the stock 4 pot, 296mm brake setup is failing you on the street with a low powered R33 when there are plenty of other high powered R33s that are required often put to the test on tracks. Yes bigger brakes will be better but why upgrade your brake setup when the initial weakness is actually the pad choice.
