  2. I'm planning to do the Spool spline gear oil pump as well, I'm assuming the crank needs to be machined down and then the gear is pressed on?
  3. I see you've changed your mind lol...
  4. if only Nissan put a 2JZ GTE VVTi motors into the R33 and R34 neither of us would be in this shit storm.
  5. oh fek, not you as well!!!
  6. Happy Lunar New Year, also treated myself to a new trolley jack because it's red and red is a good colour during the New Lunar Year lolol.. (I have 2x jacks now lol..) Also took the box off, and yep that's it for now.
  7. so yeah, a bit pissed on straya day but the motor came out.. barely... I forgot to remove the shifter LOLOLOL... We were like wtf.. the motor and box was jammed, looked underneath and "f&%k c&_t, piece of shit c¥×t"... so motor back in ish, then shifter out then round 2 and now we're here!
  8. Well if the tuner/shop has considered the surrounding cells then it will be fine, however if it's like the tune I saw from the said workshop then no..
  9. Tension up the actuator further, also is your flange fully seated with the turbo? I had a S15 come to me before for a tune and the turbo was held on by 2x nuts and the owner said it was laggy... well, when there's no exhaust going into the turbo then yes...
  10. I've seen a tune file from said tuner from a car with similar mods. It was horrendous at the very least. Also your cat is probably restrictive.
  11. Let's just say your choice of tuner could be better...
  12. ^ take it to a different tuner, also are you running a cat - if so which cat? plus need more boost
  13. Borg Warner EFR7670, twin external gates, Full Race Manifold and a 3.5" turbo back exhaust. ARP 2000 head studs, Tomei head gasket and Tomei Poncams. Once that's done, drop in a set of ID injectors and a Turbosmart FPR1200 regulator. Should be good for 360 to 400kW
  14. what are you trying to do for starters? do you want the torque to be more linear or do you want to stretch out the power band or you're chasing a few kW up top or you just want brappy cams fordaslarts? And I wonder how that timing map looks like
  15. le siet bok updates, pulled off cat (turbo shrapnel filter) tapped out bits of engine and turbo: then went onto disconnect all the hoses, accessory loom, blah blah blah. Removed the AC compressor, powersteering pump and cabled tied them both out of the way (don't want to regas because tight arse asian). Removed nuts on engine mount. And yes, something had to go wrong.. ended up snapping the coolant hose connector that goes from motor to firewall. Lucky wasn't the heater core hose fittings. And yeah, managed to take off the bonnet on my own, aesthetics - not really I've gone fat. So now, as you may have seen in the WTB section, I'm searching for a motor being a neo or just a built rb25det. Let's see how that goes Unfortunately with so much going on, I won't have much of a budget to fry. Just waiting on NST to go up in price and I'll sell my shares to build this turd into a glorified fast turd.
  16. My charcoal canister just fell out.. and now there's a catch can there lolol Also, good job on mounting it down there.. nice bracket!
  17. PM me of what you're after, i.e. 76mm or 100mm, Raw or Stealth Black or Polished, IAT or no IAT, and postcode so I can work out freight
  18. man, the prices that NEOs go for are crazy. Might as well buy new pistons, rods and DIY
  19. WTB (Syd): RB25DET NEO or Basic Built RB25DET Yes, blew my motor and it took out my turbo too lol. Tao from @hypergear found bits of piston inside the turbo housing lol.. now it all makes sense! Anyhow, she lasted about 500 laps of Wakefield with heaps and heaps of abuse. Now what I'm after: * Stock RB25DET NEO (no coldside/hotside needed) or * Basic Built RB25DET motor (no coldside/hotside needed) or * some one build me a motor lol (would do it myself but I'm space limited now since moving into a town house). Needs to be in Sydney so I can inspect and do a compression test and if you're able to deliver that would be tops top although I'm able to pick up but might take some time organising people and a trailer blah blah. Dose on!
  20. and when someone sees a Plaz cooler they know you're serious Anyhow, I can get you one for a decent price however the team there is flat out catching up on jobs so it will be at least 2 weeks before you can get your hands on one as they're all made to order.
  21. Just do it as per the diagram for now In future, delete the PCV
  22. they're not bad as a tyre, but driving my friend's S15 with Z221 it's like day and night difference lol
  23. Salem! I usually get about 3~4, of course the fronts go the fastest on the R33 boat.
  24. I would trigger your new relay setup using the trigger wire on going into the OEM relay. This means you're not dependant on that fuse and relay circuit, ie removing another point of failure.
  25. Most cops will try and defect you, I had to explain to one these are race tyres and the tread was (at the time) still above the 1st indicator. Note, with NT01 you can drive them past the tread, there's a 2nd indicator in the form of a circular indent.
