  1. Torque is split 50/50 across the wheels where as a VLSD at best is doing 30/70 thus you're frying one wheel more than the other. I barely can spin 2nd on my car with a fair bit of power where as dudes with less power are frying 3rds on the stock VLSD. Still have to do those screen grabs for you off Nistune, haven't forgotten just super busy when I get home
  2. eBay ones work okay, if money permits get a better one however I ran a Worley one for years on the track only ever boiled coolant on warmer days. However since I've gone to a PWR one I haven't seen the water temp move past 100 degrees on the track.
  3. I don't get "full boost" in 1st gear either, in 2nd don't either. Not enough load on the motor.
  4. not bad! get a 2-way or 1.5-way LSD in there ASAP
  5. Welcome to the club, many Hondas will be scared.
  6. Glad I could help Check out adms15' video on how his SR pads performed at Sandown.. pretty damn good! They're no Project Mu HC800 pads but they're close enough and at half the price, it's perfect for a weekend track warrior
  7. BM57 Now I'm getting the feeling you want big brakes for bragging rights and car park meets. Because you've just ignore what eveeyone with real world facts, experience and track experience had to say. Hey all good if it's just for looks, but at least post that you want to achieve that, instead of insulting those who are actually trying to help out. Btw. I can get you Hel lines delivered in black or clear or red for 140$ for all 4x corners.
  8. Yeah BC BR.. didn't like the feel of them tbh.. Once you've experienced better anything BC, HSD, G4, ISC etc.. T&R all just feel shit. Been in my mates Evo with Ohlins, makes the MCAs look like shit.
  9. been on BCs (not my car) - felt ok... I own MCA X-R with 10/7 spring rates and feels more planted and less bumpy than a set of BCs with 8/6 Also 32 adjustment on the BC vs 12... ain't no body got time for 32 adjustment points.. heck 12 is 4 too much.
  10. I'm a full ching chong bing bong and my engrisher is better LOL
  11. fuuark.. is that the 1st twin scroll Hypergear evahhhhhhhhhhhh? hory shet.
  12. Feed and return at the same time drill little holes on the jet pump siphon whatever it's called. Best to convert to an fittings or use a R33 lid (if it fits.. should I think).
  13. R34 need to drill the lid
  14. Yeah? Didn't know lol. Back in 2005 when I did it for the 180SX there wasn't anything so I made my own.
  15. Make your own. Generally 4ga audio cable is enough and a nice moreoso battery box is nice. Don't forget a sensible ANL fuse.
  16. Totally unrelated however this is good info for max torque and lag. Recently, well about 3 months ago I retuned a SR20 with a full TS GTX3071 0.83 setup and it previously had a set of homo BC 264 cams in them. Turbo came on at 4.7k rpm, max torque was about at 6.2k rpm and you could imagine how useless, how shit that would be. Power kept climbing but what for? I had to cut the revs at 8 because still had a hydraulic lifters I advised the owner (again) to go smaller duration cams, he kept saying these cams are responsive blah blah blah. Anyhow he obliged and got basic 256 Poncams. All 1.8bar is now in by about 4200rpm, max torque is now at a sensible 5.4k rpm and car shits out a fun 350kW. #truestory
  17. That was more so due to the lift and aggressive cam advance.
  18. would flatten out torque at best.. however you need to play with the cam gears heaps to achieve that.
  19. smart move... Cams will NOT give you response
  20. like a single TS or VCam or Rb25NEO conversion lol... I'm a bit drunk
  21. and even though the -9s hit 23psi or so by 4300rpm.. before that magical RPM.. it makes less torque and less power than a diesel Golf.
  22. I wouldn't say a dash -9 setup is responsive at all... that's just me.
  23. yep Page 7 http://static.shop033.com/resources/F2/13042/Other/Otomoto2015b.pdf
