I think more so over spun the turbo and too many track days, kept running it at 1.7bar I told Tao how much boost it was running and he's still pretty happy to fix it on warranty - now that's service! Sure do, they're advertised much higher on trak-life.com/shop but during December we're offering free delivery for front and rear set of SR Pads for $199 or Type-D Pads for $269 Jsut PM me or e-mail me at johnny (AT) trak-life.com with your name, delivery address, phone number and I'll shot you back an invoice if you're interested

does it dose hard yet? -
Save you the headache, also because the Adaptronic is semi sequential injection there will be a level of "thumping" from the fuel system. I had to install an additional fuel pulsation damper by Radium to suppress the fuel pulsations to get full control of my injectors. Had leaning out issues in low load, and high rpm areas due to the pulsation not being dampened.

Did you update the firmware on your ECU and then re-selected the trigger settings again? because there's something funny with the new Eugene software that screws up everything. If that's the case, download your map, save it. Load up a base map from the install directory, then re-import your fuel/ignition map and manually change all the other values such as injector scaling, idle control settings, cold start, IAT compensation, etc. Tedious process, but I had the same issues with 2x cars already. It's weird the trigger settings originally would say R33 RB25DET blah blah.. then you upgrade the firmware, move onto Eugene and now your trigger settings say "custom", when trying to change it back to what it's supposed to be.. boom car won't start.

Get a better regulator, those Sard ones aren't good at dampening the fuel pulsation also they're not E85 friendly. I always install Turbosmart FPR1200 FPRs on cars I work on.

JDMyard gets, but their prices are shit too unless you have a lawn mower built by them. -

I don't recall doing anything when fitting mine -
Car will be off the market for now. Turbo exploded yesterday when I went to get beer after it being sat in my yard for 3 weeks. Might as well do the head gasket, valve springs, valve stem seals and maybe slightly longer duration cams. Maybe a respray and maybe I might keep it lol. Let's see what 2017 brings. thanks everyone!

Car won't take timing with out knock
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to MatthewT85's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
To rule out a cas issue.. load up the car say at 4k rpm on the dyno and make sure all the cells around that are the same and using a timing gun to see if the timing is synced. Easiest way to rule out if the cas is playing silly buggers -
R33 Rb25det not performing
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to BrokenR33RB's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Run less boost, stock timing map and fuel maps were not mapped for boost.. Have a feeling running 0.7bar would feel better -
do you have access to a wideband? see what's going on with the o2 during o2 feedback enabled and disabled.

ID1700 stainless, not modified on a lathe like other brands. -
not really performance related but a tyre review nevertheless Tyre: Hankook Ventus S1 Noble^2 Size: 205/50/17 Car: Mazda 3 SP25 BL Comparison Tyre on Same Car: Bridgestone RE002 Quietness: 8/10 - day night difference in terms of noise compared to the RE002 Acceleration Grip Performance: 7/10 - decent grip, mash throttle with VSC off very little spin, nearly no spin, RE002 (old) would fry and make smoke Lateral Grip: 6/10 - not as good as the RE002, feels the side walls are much softer - however need to remember these are commuter tyres. Value: 8/10 - at $145 per corner installed, it's pretty good (yes I know right now you can get RE003 for $195 each - not fitted and 3 for 4 deal) Overall, decent quiet tyre for daily use. Appears to be decent with grip, although they're brand new.. give it a few months and I'll give an update.

ground off the fuel if you haven't done that.. i.e. that bypasses the drop resistor which will lead to premature pump death -
