  1. Make sure you get it with the feature pack. Gives you option of full flex support by feeding the 0-5V into the diagnostic port. Not to mention anti-lag for launch, great for showing who's boss lol.
  2. at least I'm half way there LOL... Got the single part right and a divided OEM manifold with both pulses split to a single gate hahaha Preachers usually don't practice - you know that... look at some of the world's most "well respected" high up there people (trying to be as neutral as possible so no one has a sads and bombs my house). Anyhow, I'm sure my setup will leave many twin "built" 2.6L guys very sads... whenever it gets completed. Even my old setup left many twin 2.6L boys sad as fk!
  3. Still want a Plazmaman Cooler?
  4. It's not boost that blows apart motors, it's torque Also being a NEO motor she should be alright with a healthy amount of boost and power. Being a non-GTX style wheel now, I won't be screwing in silly amounts of boost like before.
  5. Not much excitings lately, been busy with house stuff and wedding planning however managed to clean up the block a little. Been contemplating throwing in forged pistons and rods however that's just opening up a new can of worms. The initial plan was to throw in a stocker motor but.... that didn't go to plan lol. So being sensible I'm only installing new conrod bearings, spool crank collar, spool billet oil pump gears and then balance the crank. Just trying to contact a few machine shops but they seem to be so hard to get to. Might just rock up and drop it off. Typical RB cranks, a whole 4mm to drive the oil pump LOL.
  6. And 8.5 years later Paul listens and decides to go a TS single
  7. Better to get more displacement, P&P, better valve springs, etc.. won't magically give you the low->mid range you are hoping for. What you could do (my honest suggestion) is to get a cam gear, dial in more advance on the intake side and see if you can get your -5 turbos on a little earlier.
  8. You're in Sydney aye? I'll tune your car if you like. Also would recommend getting better coilpacks or OEM.
  9. It does transform the low down, mid range, if setup correctly. I've seen potato setups with twin scroll manifold, twin gates all going into an open scroll turbo. Also have seen the other way around too.
  10. twin scroll big single, done.
  11. Full boost comes on about 4.7 to 5k? EFR8374 probably do it all close to 4k, make more torque and power across the entire RPM range too.
  12. Save the money on cams for a modern twin scroll setup with a twin scroll single turbo. A single EFR8374 would do everything better than your twins with cams blah blah using the stock cams.
  13. Some widebands require a sensor ground to be connected such as the AEM UEGO or AEM Failsafe. Conenct the sensor ground with all the other sensor grounds next to the ECU.. there will be 2x bunches of sensor grounds connected to the body work.
  14. Cut Pin 29, and wire that to the narrowband output... i.e. Wideband 02's narrowband output -> ECU
  15. if you ever need it again I can get them new from Hel for a good price
  16. WTB: Oil Filter Mount/Housing from RB20DE/T or RB25DE or RB30E/T Wallah, I am after an oil filter mount/housing from a RB20DE/T or RB25DE (early model) or RB30E/T. They are like the RB25DET one however without the water/oil heat exchanger. I am happy to pay about $50 for it (considering an entire RB20 motor is worth like $200~$300). Location: Canley Vale, NSW
  17. Cheapest option is to gap plugs down to 0.6mm lol. I run mine at 0.5mm, never misfires
  18. Yes, I do it all the time for cars I tune as their stock o2 is often cactus and I always recommend they install widebands. The beauty of simulation is that you can define the voltage output vs the AFR so at times you can be smart about it and move afr range towards the leaner region so you end up cruising at 15.5
  19. And didn't I advise of the billet hollow tube from PPG about 10 pages ago?
  20. Run 3.5bar base fuel pressure, delete the in tank damper/pressure relief valve (if it's there). Tell your tuner to derive the RPM from the road speed. You set this in the Analyse Screen (F2) and it's under Settings Menu -> Derived RPM vs Speed. Increase the load hold speed to about 100km/h, run the car up to that speed and hit learn (or whatever the button is called). Hate seeing dyno sheets without RPM and yeah those torque figures are through the roof because there's no RPM.
  21. Get a GTR resistor pack or make your own using decent size resistors from Jaycar. If you dig a bit on this forum I've listed out which resistor (resistance and wattage) needed per injector about 10 years ago haha.. damn I'm old.
