  1. Start a thread ion the forced induction section - no posting in turbo upgrade except for results/charts

There is no rule that says '  no posting in turbo upgrade except for results/charts ' Smallys post was relevant to the thread.

Please don't start attacking new members @KiwiRS4T . We are warning and banning people for doing so..

  2. You're having us on surely? Stock ecu? 264 cam? Why?

It drove really well when i saw it a few weeks ago.

      If it works, why not?

  3. I entered KW1281 into Playstore on my Samsung phone and it came up with OBDKey Fault Code Reader from KBM systems ltd - worth a try if you have a blue tooth device?
  4. Post it to Nistune - they'll soon tell you.
  5. As above: internal diameter of the drive gear - it should be in the region of 44mm I ask because I have had people report they can't get their RB30 pump over the crank collar (which is about 43.78mm) whereas all other RBs fit no problem. But maybe N/A and turbo are different. And as I asked before - what engine do you want to use it on?
  6. Complete with turbo - a great job but they are not willing to put a dollar amount on it - would probably be north of $100,000! - although AWD added to the complexity. Here's the video - there's about 12 episodes I think:
  7. I was an Uber driver for six months (in a Prius of course, not an RB) and tried every phone mount I could find. Ideally I needed a long arm windscreen mount as nowhere on the dash was suitable but all broke or failed in some way. Uber requires a lot of operating the touch screen so that gives it a hard work - out. Vent mounts were not stable enough but I ended up getting a vent mount and screwing it to the vent (not an ideal scenario!!).
  8. Have to say it looks like a bog standard hardware store galv flat washer. If you don't have a use for it throw it in the bin. FWIW I would keep the airbags.
  9. There's a few around and its pretty straightforward - the bell housings are available over here and no doubt in Aus as well. If you're going to pay someone to do it it will cost an arm and a leg. But why bother? An RB30 makes much more sense.. This is an R33 but its much the same: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/nissan/auction-1163792991.htm and this is an R32 but VK56 http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/nissan/auction-1166480588.htm
  10. That's a good result! What size rear end on the turbo? Good pickup in traffic?

  11. OK they didn't used to - mine came in a fetching pastel colour like this:
  12. I did but they have no street cred and don't come in red.
  13. What is the in internal diameter of the drive gear? I believe the stock RB30 pump may be smaller than the other RBs but I don't know about the turbo version. What engine do you plan to use it on?
  14. Thanks Dave but have to give credit to Sydney Kid for kicking it off and then a number of people refined it with their own real life experiences until a pretty well defined consensus was reached as to what works best and why...
  15. Tomei and Cusco both make one and I have seen another that also incorporates a Master Cylinder Stopper but yours look "custom". This is the Tomei one:
  16. If you value your RB26 take the time to read a big whack of this thread - start half way through if you like and take your time and you will see what the consensus is.
  17. No idea whether or not they are genuine but as about 4 or 5 people have told you there is nothing wrong with GTT brakes if you bleed them properly and use some decent pads. if you go to the brake forum you will see info on how to bleed your brakes properly (needs two people for best results).
  18. As you say the vent is illegal. I (and I think most people) run the vent to the turbo intake. If you are spewing a lot of oil out the top so that oil is going into the turbo intake then you need another fix but the short term one would be to put another air/oil seperator into that line. Sorry I haven't read your earlier posts and don't know how necessary your catch can actually is. If you really need it have a read of at least say the last half of this thread to see what it is all about:
  19. I upgraded the puny brakes on my heavy 320AWKW Stagea with GTT brakes and it was perfectly adequate on the street and even on the track for the first few laps. I only replaced them later for the track - would have been fine for street use.
  20. If you are going to invest that amount of money maybe you could spend a few bucks visiting some top machine shops (in the guise of scoping out someone to do your heads) and see what modern day best practice looks like...and what machines they are using.
  21. If you have been searching why are posting in the forced induction section instead of "suspension, braking and tyres" where there is a whole sticky on brake pads and the first post is on R34 GTT brakes? And a free tip - use Google for searching this site... and do the research before you spend the big bucks rather than after.
  22. $10k is not going to get you what you need for a big power engine (starting with forged fully balanced components) so just concentrate your mind on the essentials for a 350KW result as advised above. Save some money for tyres, suspension, brakes, clutch...LSD
  23. Or maybe someone can scan them and produce them on a 3D printer.
  24. Stock or round here there are cheaper aftermarket rotors available. In other words get on your phone and find the cheapest price and buy those. Get some good pads and change your brake fluid.
  25. Don't limit yourself to year old posts - these cars have been around for decades and new gearbox manufacturers are thin on the ground. There are discussions on the pros and cons of PPG, OS Giken, Quaife, Getrag, etc if you search (use Google, not the site search engine).
