  1. You'll fall asleep driving a stock R33 GT-R... even a stock R34 GT-R is boring.. I hired one and drove around Japan in one for a whole day.. zzzzzzzzzzz
  2. You can't just "make" more power with a different ECU. It depends all on your user requirements, in terms of features, protection strategies, Inputs/outputs, etc.
  3. we are holding a track day tomorrow at Wakefield Park.. bring your car, I'll give you a discount on entry! https://www.facebook.com/groups/traklifegreasertrackday
  4. We are now offering pay on the day.. once again if you come in a Skyline of any sort you'll get a discount. Sorry, R35 GT-Rs pay $250.. you're technically not a Skyline anymore (as per the very interwebs).
  5. Get the GTX3582R Dan, will be sex on your car.
  6. It was deleted, Trent at Chequered posted up test results, back to back dyno sheets and all for numerous scenarios to prove it wasn't just a bad batch. The thread lasted about 3 days.
  7. RX7 faster around Wakefield with less or next to no mods. Also, plenty of 1/2JZ swap kits from all mounts/shafts/exhaust and wiring. Literally plug and play.
  8. Managed to get out the remaining head bolts by cleaning the head, removing all debris/oil/shit then hammering in a hex slightly the wrong size in. Next surprise were the cylinders, dirtier than a Kings Cross hooker, surprisingly the cylinder bores were still good! Used a bit of elbow grease and cleaned them up and now sits ontop a thin layer of oil. Head will be sent off next week the Hanoi fit new seals, retainers, springs, cams and possibly adjustment to shims (if required).
  9. come our track day next Wednesday #overnightpartsfromjapan and removing quench/squish pads isn't advised for your setup.
  10. To improve response, one shall upgrade to a modern single twin scroll turbo.
  11. You need a bigger turbo and twin gates with twin screamers. Twin turbos are gay.
  12. 2JZ-GTE VVT-i with a GTX4088R, twin gates, twin scroll would be my pick But... I'm poor.
  13. Get plazmaman Also I can assist
  14. Drill it out till the head comes off the bolt I guess then slide off the head and visagrip off the bolt
  15. If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail
  16. I use these bads boys, best investment ever as I'm throwing out my filters each 2nd oil change
  17. odd timiing map, surprised motor hasn't gone bang
  18. Get a GTX3071 with the divided rear housing, then get 2x external gates on and sit the lot on a 6Boost twin scroll manifold. Screamers out of the bonnet or side quarter for extra street cred
  19. Sietbok updates, starting stripping down the RB25DET neo AWD and found out that the RWD sump bolts up to existing pre-tapped bolt holes - woohoo! Just need to cut and shut the pickup has it site further forward due to the front diff. Will be sending the sump off to Spool Imports. More to the less exciting shit, spent the better half of Sunday pulling off the manifold, turbo, plenum, etc. so that I can rip off the head. Everything was going well, till I stripped a allen bolt, brilliant! Called it quits after that also made a massive mess when the bolt stripped and the stand shook, sloshing oil all onto the shop floor. What a shit weekend, lucky for someone they scored a free front diff/sump haha
  20. Not here but easy enough by using the VCT output to even do it. because you can trigger it by MAP, RPM and have upper and lower thresholds. Halaltech is good, but you run out of I/Os very quickly when you start doing fancy things which then needs you to go beyond the auxiliary harness.
  21. Pedders will lie to you so you spend more money. If you own a Nissan import, mandatory things to change are sub frame bushes, replace castor rods, delete HICAS and if money permits get are real diff
