  1. Easy as. There is a tutorial in the DIY section above. Its for a C34 but much the same.
  2. So do you have to (can you) retune the ECU to suit? Are you saying the Z33 is the same AFM as the R35? And will the same unit work on the VQ35DE?
  3. You may not have to lower the CR but if it is more than a thicker gasket you could make a spacer with a HG either side.
  4. If you have all this gear lying around then I would dummy it up instead of relying on theory and calculations. Put the crank, rods and pistons into a block and see where the pistons go. You should be able to work out if the pistons and valves are going to collide and if not drop the head on without bolting it down and check the clearances. You should be able to take measurements and work out the CR Once you have done that pull it apart and measure up to see if you the bores are ok (and compatible with the pistons you have).
  5. Adulterated fuel...water seeping into the inground tank? Or take a sample for testing...maybe you are being ripped off getting 91 fuel for 98 price.
  6. What I do is pump out about 2L turn it off and add 2L down the dipstick and repeat until the fluid comes out clean.
  7. What colour is your ATF? If it is dark brown rather than bright red consider using the opportunity to change the fluid (which you cannot do by draining or dropping the sump). You may need 12L or so to do this.
  8. Who was the passenger? Relative or just a random friend?
  9. How about an R31 rear swap?
  10. Well make another decision - sell the wheel and buy a better one. The fine is immaterial - what's your life worth?
  11. Hard choice - fancy wheel or potential life saver....having written off a Stagea and walked away with just a scratch because of the seat belts and airbags I would go for something like a GTR (airbag model) wheel. BTW you can get Momo wheels with airbags.
  12. Ahem...manual conversion...
  13. I got a GTR box for my auto S1 so far as I can remember the speedo just hooked up to the sender unit. I presume you still have all the original auto wires?
  14. No but MV automatics in Blackwood SA will post them anywhere for your local shop (or you) to fit.
  15. Joe Kyle works most Saturdays. He is not a tuner but will have a timing light to set base timing.
  16. Just examine them visually for distorted threads and if they look ok just torque them up to the correct figure. I assume you have steel wheel nuts - if they are aluminium throw them away.
  17. Depends where you live Joe Kyle Joes Mechanical Services 45 Mihini Rd Henderson 09 8350935 is your best bet or ST Hitec 20a Sylvia Park Rd 09 573 5575 or MCR 37 View Rd Wairau Valley 09 444 4547 E&H South Auckland HiTech Motrorsport Drury
  18. Yes
  19. Don't start a new thread every time just stay on topic. After you have refitted all the coils the car won't start?
  20. For maximum enjoyment of your GTR read this: http://www.goodezilla.com/rb26dett-skyline-gtr-single-turbo-vs-twin-turbo
  21. How many ports are on your plenum? If not enough you can buy a little manifold like this: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Blue-Aluminum-Alloy-Vacuum-Manifold-Kit-6-1-8-Port-Turbo-Wastegate-Block-Black/172573257939?epid=1795072573&hash=item282e2af0d3:g:8pgAAOSwB09YMmFe or one of these with a variety of fittings http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Aluminum-Turbo-Wastegate-Boost-Vacuum-Intake-Manifold-6-Port-1-8-NPT-Blue/122751111594?hash=item1c948951aa:g:gHcAAOSw8C9Z3u-R for your brake booster, boost gauge, BOV, FPR etc BTW there are at least a couple of threads on how to install a FFP in this site. Look at the DIY tutorials or just search with Google and it will point you to the SAU references as well as any others.
