  1. If your front right is locking up on its own then you need to fix the brakes before worrying about heeling and toe-ing. If it locks up on the street it will probably throw you off the track at speed.
  2. Replace the pump since you have one and eliminate that as a problem. If your new fpr still doesn't show 43 psi get an adapter for your stocker and use that.
  3. If you only need a light touch on the brakes to stop you are not going fast enough or braking too early!
  4. The best tuners charge and arm and a leg. Or you could get yourself a wideband meter and have a go yourself.
  5. Google R32GTR + VK56 and you will find a few examples.
  6. Lot cheaper than an i30 though. i30s are cool.
  7. Have a look. The fuses next to the battery are labelled. In cabin fuse box https://www.google.co.nz/search?q=r34+gtt+fuse+box+diagram&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=SK4XRzA6dJQaRM%3A%2CWat5HFNEw-6xHM%2C_&usg=__pb-EO6G_RwekDVQ0PZelV2fdZro%3D&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjb3qP32rHaAhUKW7wKHSl1BJ0Q9QEIKzAA&biw=1920&bih=966#imgrc=SK4XRzA6dJQaRM:
  8. I put some Recaros from a Honda into my S1 Stagea and had to use something like this (plus some adapters IIRC): https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/interior/seats/auction-1594498064.htm?rsqid=4fbaa7ac69a749ab8e8e28460544d919 I suspect you will have to source some special rails to fit EVO seats. Try to go to a wrecker and have a look at some to see what you are up against.
  9. Do a compression test to see if you have the dreaded broken ring lands (or just some broken rings. If compressions are fine have a read of this thread (start about 2/3 way through):
  10. You don't want a V spec either - that has a computer controlled rear diff instead of a mechanical LSD
  11. This guy:
  12. If you put cruise control into the search box you will find a couple of Stagea owners have done it on their NM35s - ok not a V36 but still drive by wire...
  13. Workshop manuals here: http://www.skyline.se/dokument/ Good luck with the Attessa - there is a pump above the diff and a reservoir in the boot. Need to connect TPS to ecu and lots more besides!
  14. You need to up the boost to 10 psi
  15. Wheels make it look much better. Need to paint the bonnet!
  16. Just google "how to replace valve stem seals (without removing head)" and you will have a ton of videos on you Tube to choose from.
  17. Compression test is not flash but plenty of cars will go for ages like that. Loss off boost - check for leaks. Could be turbo on the way out. Why did you install a Link? Don't think you will make 500hp with an engine as tired as yours!
  18. Aftermarket "pineapples" are installed differently for particular applications (see attached): Pineapple positions.pdf
  19. There is a lightweight version of the Impreza STI which is very fast and agile from stock. Both the Impreza and Mitsubishi Evo will be much more non- boatlike than R33 or Stagea.
  20. Depends if you want a repair job (supposing the turbos are actually on the way out) or an upgrade. If the latter big single is the way to go: http://www.goodezilla.com/rb26dett-skyline-gtr-single-turbo-vs-twin-turbo
  21. OK so its a bit harder. Nistune is not available for the R33 type ECU. Just stick the exhaust on and up the boost to 10psi and the stock ecu will cope. if you start putting a bigger turbo on etc you can consider options such as Link or diffferent ecu that will take a Nistune chip.
  22. If you can find an R32GTR with fewer than 80,000km ( 4.000 annually) you will be looking at over $100,000! A high mileage GTR is not a collectors item but a money pit and a hobby!
  23. Everything you need to know is in this thread... read the whole thread first and then go back to the bits you need.:
  24. Try to borrow (or even buy) a mechanical boost gauge and run the pipe through your window or door to check if you are actually making boost.
