  1. Stands for Area/Radius ratio. Simply put it is like gearing - a smaller number will usually spool up more quickly a larger will give more power at the top end...but there are many variables. As I said before learn from other people - go to the RB25 turbo upgrade thread and see what different turbos do for each car. Unfortunately not everyone lists the A/R of their turbo but there is a lot to learn by reading through the thread . The ideal for you depends not so much on your engine as on your choice of turbo and intended use.
  2. Try to get a 80 - 120 time (hold in gear so no gear change if possible). Run your tank as empty as possible and then after a few fills . with 98 reset your ecu by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then repeat the test. I would expect a tiny increase in performance but would in any case stick with 98 where possible for the reason above (high compression engine).
  3. You have already got the information. They could be worth up to $1,000 if you can find a buyer at that price. I sold a set at auction for $500 (c/w a set of slicks) because that was the best bid I got at the time.
  4. There is nothing especially unique about your build. While it is true that every car is slightly different there are literally hundreds of examples for you to choose from in this thread which is why your other thread was closed.
  5. Hi Will! Got some pics of the R33? I think the 4 door looks better than the coupe...
  6. Sell the 260s get custom cams made to your requirements.
  7. They look bit like these: http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=EM&Product_Code=TODA-13210-3SG-2T0-I&Category_Code=TODA-RODS-TOYOTA Have you tried asking the seller?
  8. For street use new stock rotors (or skimmed if there is enough thickness left) with some decent pads will be fine. Better brake lines and new fluid would be good. For suspension shocks of your choice (Bilstein for me) and an upgraded rear anti-roll bar will help.
  9. The short answer is no.
  10. Hi Mike...how about a few pics of your R34!!
  11. What type of alarm did you get?
  12. You'll make 280KW with the stock manifolds...save the money for elsewhere such as a manual conversion.
  13. Need...more...flames!!
  14. If you are really lucky it has had a 2.8 conversion and then been returned externally to stock - not all that likely but you could check by measuring the capacity of a cylinder.
  15. FFS leave them alone! Just drive the auto til you can drive the other car !
  16. They cleared the 330mm D2 brakes on my AWD Stagea and quite likely could go another 20mm but someone may have done it already... Sorry on reflection I think they were R34 GTR wheels.
  17. Not a fan of R33s but yours is looking pretty good now. Wheels and wheel fitment make the car!
  18. Try the Smithsonian... Or look at some new millennium turbos such as Borgwarner or Precision.
  19. 9 sets of calipers did you try one new brake booster?
  20. Kept the VCT on my RB30 and there is not a dip as dramatic as yours...must be something else?
  21. Take a trip down to DVS http://dynoseek.com.au/dvs-tuning
  22. Overshot your target by more than 100kw! Sounds like fun.
  23. Try Rips https://www.ripsracing.com/rotorua-import-pro-shop.html
