  1. Try RIPS https://www.ripsracing.com/rotorua-import-pro-shop.html
  2. Well if you are after a stock replacement it depends where you are - good idea to put your city and country at least in your profile. Most popular replacement that you can run with stock ecu etc is one from Hypergear (look up his thread and give him a phone).
  3. There is a conventional key inside your smart key. On the opposite side to the main buttons there is a small catch and that will allow you to pull out the key. ( Don't have a V35 but that is the case with most Nissan smart keys).
  4. Why are you replacing the turbo at 100,000km (if that's genuine km)? If you want a bigger turbo you have to also look at intercooler, exhaust, injectors, fuel pump etc and of course an aftermarket ECU or a Nistune chip. The only coils I would suggest are OEM or Splitfires - and of course plugs while you are there. The crank sensor is unlikely to need replacement nor is the sensor on the air intake (MAF sensor) but by all means replace the O2 sensor on the exhaust downpipe. There is heaps of information in the Stagea (wagoneers) section especially in the DIY section. https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/102808-stagea-d-i-ys-how-tos-f-y-is/
  5. Wow $2500 for a tune ... do you live somewhere that you need to fly a tuner in?
  6. At high km, noisy cam chain, tired turbo.
  7. Hi! Some pics would be a good start!
  8. Looks like you have a big turbo and oversized throttle body - can you post up a dyno chart? And as above - where do you want your power - is it a street car only or are you after a 1/4 mile machine?
  9. Ok to be fair this is the latest Leaf (not the 3 year old model): https://insideevs.com/watch-2018-nissan-leaf-accelerate-to-60-mph-plus-top-speed/
  10. Hope you got a 24kw one Matt - hopefully you read about the 30kw car's batteries degrading faster. The Trust I work for is buying 6 electric cars. So far one Leaf and 3 eNV200 vans. We will probably get one more van and hopefully a Hyundai Ioniq for a bit longer range. And Duncan, re batteries, Nissan is providing b- all support but the local dealers have been negotiating to bring batteries in from Japan and have finally succeeded - the hold up has been getting the Dangerous Goods designation. As well a local firm, Blue Cars, has been rebuilding batteries by identifying the weak cells and replacing them with good ones. It also has an ambitious plan to make battery packs from scratch. Its good fun dragging people off at the lights as many Leafs (Leaves?) are owned by conservative greenies intent on using as little power as possible and the owners of petrol cars are not accustomed to seeing electric cars leave them standing ! And even more off topic - first an ad featuring an electric classic and below that a short video on its build: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/national-video/news/video.cfm?c_id=1503075&gal_cid=1503075&gallery_id=189421
  11. Yes and yes. Nengun sell a kit and if you google will find lots of help. Have you thought of repairing your box instead?
  12. Disclose its history and put it up for sale. If you can't get what you consider a reasonable price then you can decide to sell the parts.
  13. To get a flow you have to also remove the thermostat so you could probably replace it while you are at it (with another stock one).
  14. So long as its hot enough to open the thermostat ...so I take it you are not flushing the block but just draining the radiator?
  15. Depends how you have been flushing it. I have just been doing the same with someone else's car - i.e. draining and refilling the system and it is only slowly getting cleaner but a proper flush would require you to remove the thermostat and reverse flush the block with a hose.
  16. Nistune may install a start up tune that will enable you to drive carefully to the tuner if you give them all your details.
  17. Be different - fabricate a backwards facing intake manifold.
  18. Get a Nismo diff from Japan which is the correct one for your car. From Nismo or https://jessestreeter.com/ By the way if people are throwing out their diffs to get a Kaaz then you don't want their old diff either - you would be better off with the Kaaz.
  19. I don't know if it is still the case (get on the phone and find out) but I believe Nistune will install their chip on your ecu -courier both ways shouldn't take too long. As to tuners - the best usually have no shortage of customers so if you want the best be prepared to persevere with your efforts. Should be easier if you already have the chip installed and just need the tune.
  20. What kind of ECU do you have? You can probably get better boost control with the ecu controlling a Mac valve. NB wastegate comes off turbo housing See below - Link + Mac Valve + Synapse 50mm W/G
  21. Noisy timing chain (actually that may be only a 250 problem...not sure). Auto trans clunking or flaring.
  22. Hi Joey - need pics of your cars!
  23. Sounds interesting - can you post up some photos of your cars!
